Final Fantasy 16: Dozmare Location and How to Beat

Dozmare is one of the Notorious Mark Hunts in Final Fantasy 16.

Location: Caer Norvent West Gate, Sanbreque - right at the bottom of the map, next to the Caer Norvent River Gate fast travel point

Reward: 20 renown, 8,500 gil

Combat Tips:

• The Dozmare's attacks are fairly easy to dodge except the magical dive that it starts doing later in the fight. To properly dodge this, you need to dodge the initial impact and then either jump over or dodge through the following shockwave. The timing for this can be tricky, so be careful
• Try not to get hit by its wind spell, as the blast will create a small tornado. If you get caught in this, you'll be open to further attacks
• After one of its lunging attacks, the Dozmare leaves itself quite vulnerable. You can easily unleash a quicker Eikonic attack during the time it takes for the monster to recover
