GTA 5: All PS5 vs PS4 Differences

How about just writing an article when they spill the beans? I love this site, but drip feeding info on GTA V? Doesn't it come across as a bit click bait-y, or is it just me?

Well I will only be interested in GTA V on PS5............. IF, Rockstar gives a free next gen upgrade.
I mean, Rockstar makes all there money on GTA online with there shark cards right? So a free upgrade won't bankrupt them.
I am not going to pay £60-£70 for a game I have already purchased at full price on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4?
Making us pay full price for the same game that's rumoured at 4K graphics and 60FPS? Is criminal

The only question I'm asking myself is am I going to buy this a third time. I think the answer is no but if there are good deals on it eventually ( there will be imo ) I might.
I really enjoyed this single player experience but I don't think I can play it through a 4th time. Probably.

@BNAG_Gamer GTA V Expanded and Enhanced PS5 version will be a free upgrade to anyone who own the PS4 version of the game! You won't have to purchase the Expanded Version if you still own your PS4 copy. I have mine digitally so it's a bit easier but I think it'll be just put your PS4 disc in the PS5 to play the Expanded Version! Happy gaming ✌️

Only GTA Online will be available for free to PS+ subscribers for a period of 3 months.

The full game itself is not upgradable, you can only buy it full price.

@MaxDiehard wow that's a shame, they haven't shown us anything in regards to what we'll be getting with the Expanded and Enhanced version & the way it was announced lead me to believe otherwise. Thank you for clearing that up, hopefully we'll get a look at what these upgrades on PS5 will offer, until then I won't plan on purchasing the game full price for the 3rd time now. Geez they are bold in believing people will run out and buy a game that was built on PS360 hardware just cuz it offers better textures, load times & 60 fps. Those are great upgrades but does it warrant playing the same game over again? That's what I'm personally on the fence about. Thanks again for the info 👍

What is the point of this article, it's pure click bait. Also it shows There is such a lack of quality games these days when so many people are playing a 8 year old game. Their new game is going to blow open the side of the planet when it drops, think cyberfake hype x 10. It's crazy how much money this game keeps making lol. It's like a printing press.

Well your clickbait article worked. My partner just booted up their PS5 and I thought I saw something in the PS5 store re GTA5. A shame there’s nothing new as of Feb 23 2022.

I bought GTAV5, well had it preordered on the PS3 back when I was dealing with Sony Europe executives. I never liked 4 much and the older games didn’t excite me but I had been swayed by the trailers of GTA5. You know me and how much I h-a-t-e trailers and that I avoid them. Well something dragged myself towards it. The Sony chaps dished out some news that got me very pumped saying it’s got a feature they’ve been wanting to use since GTA3 series.

When the game arrived days early (steelbook edition of course you know I can’t help myself with them ha ha) I talked about it on social media of the time, and old university professor colleague from my time in academia, they got very excited from what I was playing! I told him all the details. How it felt like a game from the future! And it did back then! Deformable clothing textures as characters walked, the low resolution blurriness of it added to the charm and made me realise low resolutions are best. Even on my 4K Sony Bravia and various other OLED giant tvs of mine just doesn’t cut it. It’s why I prefer Nintendo Switch more than any other console ever right now as their more advanced titles feature low resolution but effects laden output.

This has me wanting to play Switch right now. I should be working, writing in-fact. But I’m taking it chill as I did since entering a sort of retirement. Whilst not technically retired, I must have said this before, the existence of my family money alone meant I never had to work and could still live in luxury… I took that and combined it with a lucrative career that resulted in lots of royalties that get paid all round the year that is alone enough to live off of with luxury. Kids that’s where the good life is: royalties and dividends. Bitcoin is for idiots who are happy to destroy the environment. One should MINIMISE their carbon footprint not seek to extend it you massive pyramid scheme addicts.

My partner is currently playing Sackboy Adventures on the first den’s TV (it’s theirs as I have my own. I call my own the second in an effort to put them ahead of me as a sign of respect. You know how you unlock doors or/and open them for your partner but let them through first holding it for them: it’s same as that. But then playing their PS5 Sackboy game is causing me a desire to play the source game it basically straight up plagiarised : Mario 3D World. A game I own twice now!

All I wish for is the Switch to have analogue triggers such as the PS5 has. It’s the only thing the console has over the Switch, and VR too. PSVR is the bomb. But a system is only as good as it’s games and the Switch simply has too many incredible games. Way more than anything else out there. And I know as I have all the systems, some a few times over in various parts of the estate. Nothing at all beats the incredible cozyness of playing a Switch in a reading nook. Tucked away somewhere in the corner of the main house building. Snuggled in one of those Costco thick £25 blankets you can get right now. Rain hitting the window you’re sat right next to. Kids all doing their own thing. Your partner writing their next book. It’s too perfect.
