Hogwarts Legacy: The Centaur and the Stone Walkthrough

The Centaur and the Stone is a Side Quest in Hogwarts Legacy, and is a Relationship Quest for Poppy Sweeting. It is unlocked after completing Surprise Meeting. In this Hogwarts Legacy guide, we're going to reveal our The Centaur and the Stone Walkthrough.

The Centaur and the Stone: Walkthrough

Following your meeting with the centaurs, Poppy will ask you to join her at a cave in Irondale, south of Hogwarts. Go there and you'll be directed to enter the cave to find the Moonstone Garden. Inside, blast open the hole in the wall on your left as you enter, defeat the enemy, then cast Accio to open the double doors.

Eventually, the single path through the cave will lead you to a locked door with moth-like pedestals on either side. If you notice on the left and right walls, there are pillars you can pull out using Accio. If you do both on the left side, a moth will appear you can direct to the pedestals using Lumos. Then, to get another moth to appear, cast Accio on the back-left and back-right pillars as you're looking at the door. Lead both to the pedestal, then cast Depulso on the moths to open the gate.

On the other side will be another 2 pedestals: one on your immediate left and the other round to the right. You just need to cast Lumos again on the pedestals in the previous room to pick the moths up again and transport them into the new room. Cast Depulso on the new pedestals and a bridge will be raised.

A door will be up ahead, and you need to use Lumos on the 3 moths in the room and place them in the door to open it. 2 Dugbogs await on the other side, so defeat them, then enter the pool of water and swim to the whirlpool where you can dive. Continue swimming, then when you reach the colourful area with the tree, head right and cast Incendio on the vines. Climb up and take the Scholars' Moonstone, then talk to Poppy to be transported back outside.

You can now follow the objective marker to the henge, where you can place the moonstone in the slot. After the cutscene, take the moonstone again and talk to Poppy to complete the Quest.
