Let me pitch this to you: people want to create levels with a genuine city scape, need advertising banners for things like Coca-Cola to make it look more realistic, Coca-Cola release a stick patch, people use the stickers in their advertising. This basically costs Coca-Cola nothing to produce but allows them to put their brand within LittleBigPlanet where user created levels see fit. It's an amazing marketing model. My only regret with LBP is that stuff isn't coming quick enough. After the Metal Gear Solid patch we expected to see Resistance, Killzone, inFamous, Ratchet & Clank(...) Media Molecule created levels - something that hasn't quite happened.
However, quite a lot of sticker patches have been coming out; putting players in the shoes of creating such levels. One such sticker patch on the way is for Judge Dredd - of which the stickers are being drawn by Jon Burgermann.
Stickers are set to become much more useful in the next LittleBigPlanet patch, allowing players to stick them on a material and automatically cut them out - essentially giving them a complete new character.
