PS3 Slim Sales Predictably Drop A Fair Bit In Japan

After a flying first week in Japan, Famitsu publisher Enterbrain have released data that suggests the PS3 Slim sold 57,056 units in its second week

Sales For The New PS3 Slim Were Lower But Respectable In Japan This Week.

Obviously, no one expecting Sony to continue selling 150,000 units every week, and it'll now be interesting to see whereabouts Slim sales settle.

Before the price drop Sony were shifting around 10,000 units a week and they'll hope that the cut will propel them to settle somewhere around the 20,000 mark no doubt.

The Wii continues to drop in the region, with sales for the XBOX 360 also dropping now there is widespread Playstation 3 availability in the region.
