@Skarasny welcome aboard, pretty much all of your interests will correlate to someone or another around here… and certainly the ‘having too many games and not enough time to play them’, that’s a common concern for sure 😁

@Skarasny welcome.

I rarely visit the welcome page, don't know why, probably because I never did my own intro here, and thus still feel like an outsider of the forum 😅

But you know what, I did today, and I see you mention Crusader Kings and thought it's worth a shout out. Also, the fact you do archeology is really cool, history and historical fiction are some of my own biggest interests. So welcome aboard, and I'd love to hear about your best CK3 antics. So feel free to tag @Ravix if you want to chat about CK3

I Recently finished Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 myself, and started Assassin's Creed Shadows, but the lure of medieval Bohemia was too strong so I actually picked up playing CK3 again this past week or so so I could start as a nothing Count in Plzen and then see what happens trying to play tall with no real goal other than to see Czech history unfold in front of me, and to try and keep some form of power while doing so. Needless to say, I now hold more land than the current king of Bohemia, and recently managed to capture Prague and Kutna Hora for my own Duchy, as I also acquired the title of Duke of Bohemia while I was at it. 4 generations in, and I'm calling it the Bohemian Schism. For reasons that may be clear based on these screenshots

Not bad considering I'm not attempting to grow beyond Bohemia myself, and am focusing on development and internal growth, rather than empire building.

At one point I actually fought one King for independence and deposed him. But within a few time skips I guess the Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire meddled, as he ended up back on the Throne (I assume because Bohemia has House Seniority and his replacement must have died) and I was suddenly back with this same King as my Liege, so all I can assume is the Emperor granted me as a vassal back to the guy 😅 I had the last laugh, anyway, by cornering his Kingdom, moving to his previous capital and taking his silver mines, and so he finally left his mortal coil.

Now I just have to maybe depose another king so I can become Culture head, but I want to try and do it through politics rather than war. But it might not work out that way 😂

Anyway. Welcome, once again.

Yupp, will be posting about books and games. I just love Ck3 and Ck2, have put alot of time in those games. I am doing a viking/anglo saxon conquest of England at the moment, starting in Jorvik county and i have just become the King of England atleast. I am just fooling around with culture and the game in general. Great fun. Not so fun being Heathen in England after some time. Well, got to do some easter fun. Happy easter to the believers
