What's New? John Kennedy Is Suing You. Yo!

We agree, it's pretty annoying. But c'mon — do any of us consider starting a class action law suit against the console manufacturers? Hell no. Still, John Kennedy is no average person — for he wants sue Sony for a breach of implied warranty and an act of negligence. His beef? Firmware 3.0.

He states that "thousands" of PS3 owners updated to firmware 3.0 only to find their system bricked. Sony admitted some problems with Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and since fixed the problem with 3.01. Sony denied that the firmware update had anything to do with borked disc drives. Which is the reason John is suing.

Good luck recouping the costs for this John. Is it really worth it? After all, you could just go and buy an XBOX 360 inste-... No, don't do that. We think you have more of a chance against Sony's lawyers than Microsoft's.
