One of the most anticipated upcoming Move-enabled games has to be Media Molecule’s LittleBigPlanet 2 which was due for release in November 2010. It’s all set to build on the excellent LittleBigPlanet from 2008 and add tons of new level-building functionality that will knock your socks off.
So it was with great sadness that the development team announced today that the release date is going to slip to January 2011 so that they can deliver "the experience that our great fans and community deserve."
From the LBP blog:
We've all been working like powered-up space ninjas and we're almost there, but because we love what we've made, and we love our little sack-friends, and most of all we love all our fans out there, we couldn't let you all get together until we knew we were giving you the best experience imaginable.
To be fair, from what we have seen of the LBP2 beta there is tons of complexity on offer. Who would begrudge them a little more time to fine-tune the experience for us lucky Move-enabled gamers?

Now i have to wait LONGER?
Mixed feelings here...
I have Sonic Colors and The Sly Collection the same day it was to be released. Not to mention Donkey Kong Country Returns soon afterwards (and possibly 3DS this year). Not to mention I still have to pay off $75 on my preorder....so my wallett will be a little happier this holiday season.
Metroid133 makes me feel kinda better because the wallet will feel better:)
WAIT. What if it's released same day as my birthday? Woo!
I am kind of glad and so is my bank account, November is an expensive month for games. Also i would prefer it to be released when it is ready rather than it needing 50 patches as soon as you play it.
i don't mind it has been delayed if that real means they're improving our experience in the game and avoiding to release a beta version so just they can release in time.
Gutted
Well, the good news is, it was either this or Epic Yarn with my birthday money(or was it save for 3DS? or DKCR?). Maybe I'll get some gift cards at Christmas?
Why so many good things come out? I would be happy with 3 great titles a year per console. Nintendo's having like, 100.
Well, I am extreemly sad that I have to wait till next year to play LBP again (my brother took the first one with him to college ), but if you can make an awsomer game even better, I'll be supportive enough to wait.
But if Super Scribblenauts and Sonic Colors get delayed, I will SNAP.
What lostie815 said. Also, I agree with the wallet-saving sentiments started by Metroid133...I've already got DKCR, Epic Mickey, and The Sly Collection to buy in November, so I could use the delay on the single most expensive game I have reserved. Not to mention gift-buying, of course...
This is probably gonna hurt holiday sales for Sony
oh thank god i got the beta, couldn't be w/o sackboy that long lol! http://tinyurl.com/9y4uaq
