Blue Tongue's de Blob 2 is looking fantastic, as this trailer shows, and now studio creative director Nick Hagger has shed some light on the game's multiplayer mode.
In a method that may sound familiar to gamers used to Super Mario Galaxy 2 veterans, a second player can pick up Move at any time and bring up a reticule on screen to control an assistant character named Pinky. The second player is then able to shoot paint at enemies and help Blob mix together two colours if the first player becomes stuck or isn't sure how to proceed.
PS3 owners are also in for another treat, as Hagger confirmed the Blu-ray release will contain the original de Blob soundtrack for players to unlock and groove along to in-game.
de Blob 2 is shaping up for a release in early 2011.
