The much-anticipated, Move-enabled multiplayer beta for Killzone 3 is on its way to PlayStation Network users across Europe and North America today.
Take to the battlefield in the Frozen Dam level in one of three online game modes – Guerrilla Warfare, Warzone and Operations, or the offline Botzone gametype. You'll only be able to play for the next 12 days, but don't forget the Killzone 3 single-player demo is out in a fortnight.
European gamers should be able to grab the beta this very second, while North American gamers can pick it up from 10am Pacific Standard Time.

I would love to hear how the bot mode works for anyone who has played this. In killzone 2 it had a bot mode but it was really just introduction to online, you couldnt level up anything without going online and you couldnt choose map, settings, or anything.
On closed beta for psn+ users the bot mode let u choose any combination of map and game type. This open beta only one map available but u may choose game type. Bot mode does not increase skill level.
Move controls are implemented well but hard to get use to. Like fist time u picked up a analog controller for a FPS.
just saw the killzone 3 article on kotaku they confirm that the motion controls work perfectly aside from when your rushed, so move controls for snipers and assult rifles, dual shock for shotguns and submachine guns. but I have a new question, does your online rank cross over to your botzone rank for example, if I preorder it and get 24 hours all stuff unlocked will offline mode run out the clock and will the bonus apply to botzone aswell. I called sony and got no answer, this thing about all stuff unlocked will make or break the game for me, as in modern combat I feel by the time I level up high enough to get the stuff I want I probably wont feel like playing the game anymore.
@lipnox.... Killzone 3 doesn't play or level up like Modern Warfare. Killzone 3 allows for several different classes to play as Engineer, Medic, etc. Each class has it's own unlock tree, and your basically unlocking the classes specials and strength to the specials, and it doesn't take long to fully upgrade one class.
(This is based off my Beta experience)
The full unlock for 24hrs will just give you a taste of what the classes play like fully leveled.
@slapshot82 where were you acouple hours ago, i spent like 2 hours on the phone with sony and 2 hours looking online and eventually i relised the 24 hours thing doesn't do anything and I can get dot scope from the start regardless. Killzone 3 is a definite buy for me, once i get good internet I hope to battle along side and against everyone from move modo.
PS: thank you for responding to my comment slapshot82 aswell as thank you to the person who responded to my first post about bots.
Been playing this just using move control and it works very well, the best set up advice is something I found on yiutube for MAG and it works the same for Killzone 3.
When calibrating and you're prompted to aim at points on the screen and press T, aim about six inches off screen instead, this smooths the movement of the on screen cursor really well and makes the experience much more forgiving.
Whats with the autoaiming using the move? When pressing L2 it autoaims on the target closest to you. This must be a mistake not removing this in the multiplayer part. Anyone else that can do this or have any information about it?
