Lightning's Probably Looking Sour About The Lack Of Excitement For Final Fantasy XIII-2.

While the original Final Fantasy XIII was certainly a flawed experience, it wasn't so terrible that the sequel should be ignored entirely. And yet despite having a huge showing at this year's E3, few publications took the time to really put the title in the spotlight.

Square Enix has released a fresh batch of screenshots this afternoon, presumably with the hope of drumming up some enthusiasm. And while we can all agree that Lightning looks super pretty in the image embedded above, we're not getting tingles over this direct sequel yet.
