It's now revealed its plans for Europe, confirming a more ambiguous "early 2012" launch window. The date discrepancy suggests Europeans might have to wait for Square Enix's promising follow-up, but we imagine it just indicates that specific dates are yet to be confirmed. The game's due out in Japan in December.

In other Final Fantasy news, there's still no Western date on Final Fantasy Type-0, though rumours are hinting that the game might get reworked for Vita or PS3. We'll see.
