Only yesterday did we post a report claiming that a number of internal Sony studios had started work on the next generation of hardware, and now we've got PS4 stories popping out of our ears.
The latest report comes courtesy of US analyst Colin Sebastian, who believes that neither Microsoft nor Sony will have new hardware ready before 2013. While that might be a stinger to some — personally we're pretty happy with PS3 for the foreseeable future — Sebastian believes that Sony will be the first to pounce; a sort of role reversal from the current generation of consoles.
Between Sony and Microsoft, we expect Sony to be first to market perhaps as early as 2013, but more likely in 2014. There is still a lot of investment for both companies to recoup in the current generation.
Talking about 2014 is sort of... Weird, isn't it?
