Sony's PlayStation Game Music service in Japan attempts to alleviate that problem. The service allows subscribers to several mobile services to stream a variety of soundtracks from first and third-party PlayStation games.

The Japanese launch of the service includes tracks from Final Fantasy, Monster Hunter and Yakuza games.
