Xbox-exclusive Deadly Premonition was one of 2011's most divisive games: as flawed as it was enjoyable, review scores for it run nearly the whole spectrum, with a 10 from Destructoid and 2.0 from IGN. The news that an enhanced version is the on way to PS3 is probably pretty welcome, then.
Former Marvelous man Yasuhiro Wada and game director Hidetaka “Swery” Suehiro are working together on an improved version of the original game, with new story elements for players to get their teeth into. Wada confirmed the game is heading to North America and Europe, though he wouldn't say who'll publish the game in those territories. The 360 version was published by Ignition and Rising Star Games in North America and Europe respectively.
PS3 owners should get to see what all the fuss is about when the game's officially revealed at E3 in June.

I've never heard of this game until now, but it certainly looks interesting! I'll keep my eye on this one.
This game is definitely a trip and a half. I own it on my 360. I'm interested to see what kind of changes they are going to make in this version. I might just have to pick it up again.
Finally! I tried the game on 360 and was interested in the bizzaro-land story, but found some of the gameplay elements lacking (I gave up the instant I got behind the wheel of a car). I had seen back then that the game was SUPPOSED to be released on PS3 later on, but then it just never materialized. If he can pull off the level of improvements this game needs, it could turn out great. Definitely one to watch, at any rate.
Everything's better on a Playstation, afterall.
