Yakuza 5 has continued its pursuit towards ultimate epicness by announcing that Namco Bandai’s Taiko Drum Master will appear as a playable arcade cabinet within the open-world adventure.
Arcade mini-games are no stranger to SEGA’s successful series, but this marks the first time that the publisher has teamed up with a fellow developer to incorporate an established brand into the game.
Once you find the arcade cabinet, you’ll be able to select from a handful of songs, including Mappy Ondo, Nijiiro Yumeiro Taikoiro and Shinsekai Yori.
We’re crossing everything that this title makes its way overseas. Everything.

I bloody love the Yakuza games. This is ace.
Fun! I bought Taiko Drum Master the day it released, but I don't think it'll have the same appeal without the drum peripheral. Still cool they threw it in there!
Yay consoles outside of Japan will finally get their share in the rhythm fun.
I love Taiko Drum Master!! Yessss
