If this week’s Gran Turismo 6 announcement didn’t shift your gears, then perhaps this extended trailer will do the job. The footage shows off a number of different vehicles racing around various circuits, including the newly added Silverstone. Just in case you think that it’s sacrilegious to view Polyphony Digital’s work in anything but 60 frames per second, Eurogamer.net has the full trailer in glittering uncompressed quality. Meow.

Aside from some Mario Kart, I'm normally not much of a racing fan. But this and Drive Club are really steer me back into the genre.
I absolutely love the GT series, but one thing that MUST ABSOLUTELY get fixed is the engine noise. I watched the gameplay video from GTplanet and the sound was equally as terrible as GT5. Even WRC3 on Vita sounds better....
I know it's a minor aspect of the overall simulator package... but a huge aspect of my love for cars and motorcycles are the engines and their soundtracks.
I am really still unsure about this release and why it is any great advancement over 5. I hope to be wrong, but the footage above doesn't convince me.
I'm guessing it will be similar to what GT4 was to GT3. Not a HUGE improvement, just small improvements all around with heaps more content.

Yeah, all cars from 5 plus around 200 new ones, sounds like a gran turismo 5.5 rather than an actual new game, will be going for drive club when his ps4
Hopefully this one will come with a collision engine. I'm not even asking for Motorstrom-like collision cams, I just think it's silly that in a simulator you can collide into a wall at 300k/h with a Ferrari and just backup a little an keep on racing.
