While it’s true that Sony’s casual monster catching series Invizimals hasn’t quite taken off to the extent that the platform holder probably expected, it does have a very loyal following in parts of continental Europe – and the company’s clearly aiming to double-down on that fanbase this October, with two new titles for the PlayStation Vita and the PlayStation 3.
Officially announced earlier in the year, Invizimals: The Alliance follows in the footsteps of previous entries in the franchise, employing augmented reality to allow you to hunt for hidden monsters around your house. Meanwhile, Invizimals: The Lost Kingdom is a brand new platformer that takes place within a forgotten world, and enables you to transform into 16 different monsters to solve puzzles and battle enemies.
If you pick up both games, you’ll be able to engage in four-player combat and swap bonus items. There’s a brand new trailer embedded below. It definitely looks like the titles are targeting a younger audience, but we’ve always felt that this series had potential, so hopefully this latest push helps to realise it.

Ok thats weird posted on here an hour ago. Stupid broken PC.
Invizimals Lost Kingdom looks like Spore Hero on the Wii, child friendly platformer thru and thru. Also Spectrobes but I dont think too many people will know that one.
@rjejr I loved spectrobes when Iwas younger. Still have the two ds ones. They look okay (Invisimals) but not my thing.
Was the original Invizimals good?
