The sun may be shining for what feels like the first time in months, but that shouldn’t stop you from shutting the curtains and settling down with some good old video games. We’re definitely in a bit of a summer lull right now, which means that there’s plenty of opportunity to catch up on the hits that you may have missed. The plans of the Push Square crew are included below, but don’t forget to share your itineraries in the comments section.

I spent about £20 on the Pinball Arcade recently, so I’m ploughing my way through the spoils of that steel ball binge. I’m really enjoying Bride of Pinbot, but I need to keep practicing before landing that challenging ‘Billion Point’ shot. It’s not easy.

I'll be rumbling in the jungl- er, city, in Tokyo Jungle Mobile for Push Square's review. And I'll probably be feeding that Animal Crossing: New Leaf addiction too.
Jon Wahlgren, Editor at Large
I won't have much time for console gaming this weekend as I'll be hitting up the Seattle Retro Gaming Expo for some ol' timey goodness. I've got a shortlist of games to grab and at the top of the pile is bizarro PSone title Incredible Crisis. If I spend quality time with the couch it'll be on The Last of Us. I'm only an hour in but it's pretty neat so far.
Asher Asghar, Staff Writer
Right now I'm playing MotoGP 13 on the PlayStation Vita and replaying Grand Theft Auto IV on the PlayStation 3. Even now the Four Leaf Clover heist is immense. Michael Mann would be proud.
Ben Potter, Staff Writer
Is it really any surprise? I'll be slowly creeping my way through the remainder of The Last of Us' single player, while desperately trying to fight off the advancing forces of night-terrors and a nasty bout of can't-turn-the-lights-off-in-the-dark. On the other hand, the multiplayer is really good. Seriously, you'll kick yourself if you ignore it.
Ben Tarrant, Staff Writer
I recently finished The Last of Us, so I've decided to set to work on survivor mode to try and grab that elusive Platinum Trophy. I've also got Resistance: Fall of Man lined up for when I can't handle getting my face incessantly torn off by clickers.
Jamie O’Neill, Staff Writer
I’m playing the twin-stick shooter Total Recoil on the Vita and whizzing my way around the PlayStation Network version of the original WipEout. I already own a boxed copy of PSone WipEout, but I downloaded the special offer digital version as a spare, and for the multiformat convenience of having it on my PS3, PSP, and Vita. Total Recoil surprised me for being a time sink; I have even amassed 10,000 total kills to earn an Annihilator trophy, so I am determined to beat that game. This weekend is a £1.99 bargain game fest.
Robert Ramsey, Staff Writer
This weekend I'll be committing genocide in Dynasty Warriors 8 in order to bring you our definitive review. By the time I'm done, I'd wager my thumbs will have mutated and evolved beyond your meagre human digits.
Simon Thornton, Staff Writer
Having completed the masterpiece that is The Last of Us, I've been looking for another post-apocalyptic zombie ridden title to sink my teeth into. For now, The Walking Dead: 400 Days DLC is filling that role nicely. It's a little shorter than expected, but a nice return to the series regardless, and functions as a great prologue for the next season.
That’s us done yacking, but now we want to know what’s keeping you out of the sun. Post your gaming schedules in the comments section below.

Well, the comingtwo weeks i work 12+ hour shifts...so nothing
Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee and The Ratchet & Clank Collection.
tokyo jungle mobile and silent hill book of memories for vita
@JavierYHL How is Silent Hill: Book of Memories? Any good?
Bioshock and Batman: Arkham City
Rainbow Moon by day, Darksiders 2 by night.
Im taking a break from "I Need a Hero". hourly battles are too habit forming. And Im not paying 30 cents to advance in Candy Crush.
Saint Seiya Sanctuary Battle and i'm replaying Resident Evil 6
The Last of Us is still my focus. I'm sad to say I haven't completed it yet due to my lack of an HDTV - my sister stole my Sony Bravia. I could play it on an old TV, but I feel that would be disrespectful to the game.
Assassin's Creed 3 and Batman: Arkham City
Tomb Raider and Dead Space 3
@get2sammyb Yes, it is actually quite good indeed. It isn't perfect, but it is well worth giving a look at.
I've been toying with Puzzle and Dragons (iOS), Joe Danger Touch (iOS), Animal Crossing: New Leaf (3DS) and Battlefield 3 (PS3) this weekend.
@Splat What kind of game is oddworld? I'm sort of new to that series. I downloaded it because of ps+, though.
If I get a chance to play this weekend, I'd like to finish God of War HD and play Terraria some more.
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn beta =). Ah, I want to have one more life, where I can play all games that I want without thinking about time, health, money and setera. And it is sad that FFXIV online really looks like Final Fantasy and FFXIII-2-3 look like I don't no what, but not FF.
@ztpayne7 - It's kinda hard to describe. I guess I would say it's a platformer/puzzle game.
It's the only game in the series I have played but let's just say I found odd being in the title very fitting.
I'm trying to 100% Final Fantasy VI and VIII on my Vita.
On a side note, wasn't Terraria supposed to hit Vita back in June?
Lego Batman 2 for PS3.
Just been playing the field this weekend.
I have been replaying Dishonored, a very fun game. I am gonna go off the edge here and start killing people from the beginning for the first time...... hehehehe
Well technically my weekend is over today my new job schedule has me off on Thursday and Fridays so Saturdays are my Monday.
Anyway I manged to play a bit of Donkey Kong 94 on the 3DS VC, a bit of GTA IV on the 360 in anticipation for GTA V, and also played a bit of Borderlands 2 with a friend on Thursday.
@get2sammyb
i am playing with friends so the enjoyment is there, but the single player is a bit tedious
Spec Ops The Line. I thought i was bored of military shooters but i'm enjoying this one.
Playing DCUO, haven't played the game in a while, fun game.
@ztpayne7 @Splat Are you guys in NA? I thought I read here that PS+ gave it to NA, but I can't find it on the store. Am I being a noob?
@charlesnarles Yes, we're in the us. I just downloaded it after Tuesday so it should be up...
The Last of Us second play through.
Playing Castlevania: Lords of Shadows and looks like I gonna finish it before Tales of Xillia release
Hopefully there will be a discount on DLC soon.
Final Fantasy XIV ARR beta. Also still in the middle of my full MGS chronological story run (just finished up Portable Ops, and mid through PW).
