Ace eighties parody Awesomenauts is bringing its brand MOBA mayhem to the PlayStation 4. The title – which deployed on the PlayStation 3 last year – sees you competing in six-player battles, levelling up your character, and unlocking new moves as you progress. According to Dutch developer Ronimo Games, the port is being handled by Abstraction Games.
There’s no word on any improvements for the next generation release, but the company has promised to support the port as long as it establishes a decent community. “Our intention is to keep the PS4 version updated,” a spokesperson wrote on Twitter. “However, this will rely on the game doing well enough and [garnering] a lively community.”
You can rock out to the outrageous soundtrack below. This is not the only project that Abstraction Games has in the pipeline, as it also teased a PlayStation Vita port of Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition earlier in the week. We’re guessing that the studio simply never sleeps.

HELL YEAH! Loved this game on PC!
I never remember it releasing on PS3?
@MrHilster Yeah, it did. It was a lot of fun, too. I will probably purchase this on PS4.
I remember it being a free PS Plus game.. that's when I got it. I dunno about these new chars - I really like Froggy G..every toad would like to be. Such a playa' can't you see? (theme song)
Mister Froggy G, he can jump from brook to creek!
This game is one of my favourites, but I won't buy it on PS4 simply because they stated they'd release more characters and yet months and months on...
My kid and I had a lot of fun w/ this when we got it via PS+ but I dont feel the need to get the same game again. Im glad companies are bringing PS3 PSN games to PS4, but I wont buy them all again.
