Fresh from Activision and Infinity Ward comes this latest trailer for Call of Duty: Ghosts, which is all about the single player campaign.
Opening with a gunfight set in space, the video is just as bombastic as you'd expect. We even catch a glimpse of Riley, the game's canine mascot, wrestling with someone while hanging from a helicopter that's trying to take off.
It's typically Call of Duty, but with every new release it gets increasingly difficult to determine just how much further the series can go. With zero gravity shootouts and missile strikes that devastate entire countries, what could possibly happen next?
Will you even be touching the single player portion of the title? Does the new trailer make you want to try? Shoot us your opinions in the comments section below.

Just what Ive always wanted! lol Shame it deosn't look as good as fighting in a zero-gravity space station a la Killzone 3. Im hoping they drop Micheal Bay as the director soon. What? He hasn't been directing CoD games? Could've fooled me...
It seems interesting atleast.
@MadchesterManc LOL You gotta admit they know how to put a trailer together. CoD in space is absurd and looks awesome at the same time.
Anyone else think the logo looks exactly like KotOR II?
Also, you'd never be able to fire a cartridge outside of an oxygenated environment... so, there's that...
@charlesnarles it does look very similar...
COD hasn't been the same since 4. I expect these shenanigans from trey acre but not IW, come"on guys, for the love of god don't have us in space on MP.
@charlesnarles Funny enough, that depends. Most newly fashioned ammunition has its own oxidation, believe it or not, so it can be fired anywhere - even in space. I guess that's what these guys are using...
I read Riley, as Ridely (from Metroid) at first lol.
@ShogunRok lol Okay, well what Newton's laws? In a vacuum with no resistance, the energy would be split between the bullet and the guy shooting it. He'd slowly accelerate backwards, exactly like an ion engine. I'm not reading too far into this, am I?
@charlesnarles Not at all - I researched it all before I wrote the article!
You're right though - a bullet will travel forever in space until it hits something. The same goes for the person firing it due to recoil.
@ShogunRok @charlesnarles I think they are coming out with a movie based on this called Gravity...lol
I'm curious. Is Riley is the same person for every cod? I hear that name very many times
Doesn't come close to BF4, not wasting my money on this generic crap.
What, no dog in a space suit? Poor
"Points for the Michael Bay COD trailer!!" "BRAVO" "ENCORE" no storytelling plots or nothing interesting just "BRAINLESS BLOW UP ACTION, DESTRUCTION WE ALREADY SAW BEFORE, DOGS JUMPING ON HELICOPTERS AND KILLING PILOTS, AND UNREALISTIC SPACE BATTLES" WOW!!! (sarcasm).
