We can’t help but feel a little bit like a kid on Boxing Day right now. The build up to Grand Theft Auto V has been expectedly exciting, but a lot of that thrill has relied on the wrapping that Rockstar Games insists on keeping around its titles. Now that the embargo has lifted, though, we’re very much reminded of the fact that this is still "just" a video game. If you were expecting the second coming of your favourite religious prophet, then you may be a teensy bit disappointed.
Still, with the release just shy of six hours away here in the UK, gameplay videos are starting to hit the web. These shorts captured by our friends over at Eurogamer.net show off Los Santos from the comfortable cockpit of an estate car, as well as a helicopter. We couldn’t help but spot the odd framerate hiccup, but the game itself still looks pretty exceptional from a visual perspective. There are no spoilers in the videos so feel free to watch without worry, and then let us know what you think in the comments section below.

It looks amazing. So much detail!
@PMasterTy9 Yeah, I think that's the impressive thing. The draw distance in the helicopter video also impressed me.
I don't get people being "disappointed" for what I have seen so far they have outdone them in every thing and got every last bit of performance out of current gen machines. Maybe people are spoiled by PS4 cgi videos too much lately...
Ill be playing this friday.
@Scollurio Agreed. People are so spoiled haha
@Scollurio
remember these are the same people that say Killzone4 visuals are the same as the PS3 visuals.
Ok only saw the first video loading the second one as i type this.... i want to buy this asap really freaking bad, is it worth paying $60 tho? please let me know
@Alpha dude, it's a GTA game. It will probably offer like $300 in play value(when measured in quality gaming hours), at least. $60 is a steal for GTA games.
