So, This Is What Grand Theft Auto V Actually Looks Like

We can’t help but feel a little bit like a kid on Boxing Day right now. The build up to Grand Theft Auto V has been expectedly exciting, but a lot of that thrill has relied on the wrapping that Rockstar Games insists on keeping around its titles. Now that the embargo has lifted, though, we’re very much reminded of the fact that this is still "just" a video game. If you were expecting the second coming of your favourite religious prophet, then you may be a teensy bit disappointed.

Still, with the release just shy of six hours away here in the UK, gameplay videos are starting to hit the web. These shorts captured by our friends over at Eurogamer.net show off Los Santos from the comfortable cockpit of an estate car, as well as a helicopter. We couldn’t help but spot the odd framerate hiccup, but the game itself still looks pretty exceptional from a visual perspective.
