You may need a treasure map to track down a PlayStation 4 this Christmas, but should you locate an Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag bundle, we reckon that you’ll be sailing home a happy mariner. Sony has confirmed that it’s teamed up with Ubisoft to concoct a brand new hardware package, which includes a 500GB next generation console and a copy of the aforementioned seafaring escapade. This is designed to make up for the previously delayed Watch Dogs set.
As announced earlier in the year, the piratical campaign comes with an additional hour of content on the Japanese giant’s systems, furthering the affairs of Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation's leading lady Aveline de Grandpré. We cruised through the current generation version of the French publisher’s open world adventure late last month, bringing news of an “enjoyable on water excursion” to any land lovers that would listen.

Nice Retail Box that
Frankly the way it was going AC IV looked like the far better game anyway. Nice bundle and good, logical replacement for the Watch_Dogs one.
Dude what is your problem with Watch Dogs? Tons of games get delayed, that's something you should be used to. The PS4 gameplay was stunning, so idk what you mean about it looking " not so good". It blew my mind, when you said that
@Shellybird27 I don't think that's what Gamer83 was saying. He probably meant AC 4 looked like the better game as in gameplay and stuff rather than visuals. And I don't think anyone will argue that watch dogs looked bad. It did look impressive, but AC 4 just has a more intriguing gameplay..

I actually like that the game got delayed because to me it needs more time in the oven. Hell at this point I want them to scrap the current build and come back to us with a 'true' next-gen experience designed around the PS4 and X1. When Watch_Dogs was first shown I was floored but with every successive showing and in particular its appearance on Fallon's show after E3, I just have not been impressed. Not from a gameplay standpoint and actually not even really from a visual standpoint. Now, I'm not against the game, I'm rooting for it because I love the ideas behind it but it was regressing as we were getting closer to launch rather than progressing, unlike AC IV which seems to have breathed some new life into a franchise that was really getting stale. We'll see what happens, the devs have extra time so I'm hoping W_D can live up to its potential.
@Gamer83 Yea I'm with you. Most of the games I've seen have that same feeling of when the PS3 came out. The graphics are a better but the gameplay was similar. It took some time for me to feel like it was a true next gen experience. Since they pushed back Watch Dogs that far maybe they'll add some stuff to make me feel like I'm actually playing a next gen title
@Cowboysfan-22 I'm sure you're right. They prolly don't want to even get compared to gta5 or any ps3 game. Idk what they could add, but that's why I don't get paid to come up with it. Maybe having realistic indoors inside every building will do the trick (gta has weird seldom rooms inside of an inaccessible city)
@charlesnarles I think what they really need to shoot for is complete seamlessness throughout the game and everything is somewhat interactive. If you want your character to go in a janitor's closet then let it happen Ubisoft. Games should feel limitless
@Cowboysfan-22
I honestly think the best way for them to make this feel 'next-gen' is to just put the game back into 2015 if need be and rebuild because no matter if the game is on the PS3, 360 and Wii U it is going to have to be dumbed a bit on PS4 and Xbox One and that's the one thing I hate about the first year (I'm thinking possibly even longer this time) of a new console. The new machines are always held back because developers aren't willing to fully jump head first into the next-gen. Fortunately Sony has some bada$$ first party exclusives but all the third party games are going to just be sligthly prettier current-gen games. I'm really hoping both PS4 and Xbox One sell well out of the gate, the sooner they move off shelves, the sooner devs have to shift focus to them.
@Gamer83 I think it's just a right of passage with new generations. They know some people aren't gonna buy the new system immediately so there's always gonna be plenty of support for the current gens. I think in a year or two there will be new games for the new gens that are gonna make us forget about Watch Dogs and AC4. Just wait
