An unlucky number for some, we're now into the 13th round of Who Would Win Wednesdays. Last week's showdown was a real nail-biter as Raiden and Sephiroth attempted to carve each other into neat little chunks, but Final Fantasy VII's pretty boy antagonist managed to just edge out a victory against the psychopathic cyborg. We may have moved away from really sharp bits of metal, but it's another brawl between two fighters that specialise in similar disciplines this week. As always, have a read about each combatant, and then cast your judgement on the conflict in our poll. There can be only one winner.
Heihachi Mishima
Easily one of Tekken's most recognisable bad guys, Heihachi Mishima is a series veteran and a fan favourite. Sporting his iconic hairdo and a constantly irritated facial expression, this older man proves that age doesn't have to dictate how you live your life. When he's not training bears to be deadly bodyguards, he's kicking the daylights out of his son and grandson, as well as just about anyone else that he can get his hands on. He's ruthless, cunning, has an interest in demonic entities, and is head of an extremely powerful and wealthy clan. But his list of attributes don't stop there, as he's also partial to a bit of crossover fun, having appeared in both SoulCalibur II and PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, and it's probably worth pointing out that the former is a weapon-based brawler in which Heihachi simply makes do with his bare hands. Hardcore.
Jude Mathis
Despite being a medical student, Tales of Xillia's Jude Mathis has put far more people in hospital than he's helped get out of it. After getting wrapped up in a crazy adventure with the impeccably groomed Milla Maxwell, Jude relies on his fists to fend off beasties of all shapes and sizes. Having practiced martial arts since he was a child, the protagonist boasts brilliant reflexes and strength that far surpass what's suggested by his slim and relatively small build. He's also a bit of a boffin who's able to spot tactical advantages in battle, and is responsible for guiding the party through numerous tricky situations due to his quick thinking. By the end of his 60-hour journey, Jude is one of the most powerful warriors in Rieze Maxia, having bested some devastatingly deadly fighters on his way to the top.
Which combatant would end up battered and bruised this week? Would Heihachi's experience be enough to K.O the agile Jude? Vote for your winner in our poll, and tell us how you think the battle would unfold in the comments section below.

Sadly, I haven't played Tales of Xillia, but Heihachi has long been one of my favourite characters, so I can't see him losing this battle. He's seen off the likes of Ogre, so I'm sure he'd make mincemeat of this little runt.
My vote goes to Heihachi. I know Jude got some power of the spirits but heihachi will crush him like a twigg.
Milla maxwell <3
Ah man: a guy who took on two gods, or a guy who took on two devils.
Tough choice, but I think I'll go with Jude only because of his speed bonus and healing capabilities. Then again, whenever a "Who would Win Wednesdays" comes around, I always imagine how the scenario would play out in PS AllStars, which I don't think is too fair for Heihachi this time around as he's kinda bad in that game.
While Jude could simply snap pivot and deliver counter attacks all day long, it wouldn't change the simple question of "can Heihachi even die?" Seriously, after the universe is destroyed and even all the cockroaches are dead, somehow he will survive.
Heihachi, hands down, because even his voice actor transcends death.
Heihachi rhymes with Kenpachi, so he has no choice but to win.
Seriously though, Heihachi could easily snap Jude in half with just a flick of his wrist.
heihachi mishima wins
I was imagining Heihachi sparring Judge Mathis and that made me laugh.

I will have to go with Heihachi. Easily one of my favorite game villains ever. Besides he's like a cockroach you think he is dead and then he comes out of no where back for more.
Heihachi wins. Every time. Against anyone. He defeated a god with his bare hands, stopped a bullet with his teeth, and bested the greatest fighters on earth without a sweat.
I have never played a tales game but Heihachi can do anything, and no scrawny anime character is going to stop him.
I, er, don't think many people are taking into account how many ultimately powerful bosses Jude has taken down. That said, he does usually fight with a party...
