A new THPS remaster is in the works and can be revealed on March 4 and come out in June. It will most likely be a remaster of THPS 3+4 but I'm really concerned about who's developing it. THPS 1+2 was one of the best remasters ever made and it really felt like an authentic Tony Hawk game from the past. Vicarious Visions developed THPS 1+2 which was a major success but unfortunately, the company shifted over to Blizzard Entertainment to work on Diablo. Vicarious Visions started work on THPS 3+4 but it got scrapped. So who is this developer working on THPS 3+4 and will it still be amazing like THPS 1+2 or would of it been much better if Vicarious Visions worked on it instead? Are we still in really good hands with the future of Tony Hawk games?
@DarthMaster09 Iron Galaxy is a good developer some.of their credits include taking over Killer Insinct when the original developer Double Helix was bought out by Amazon. The do alot of ports including the PS4/Xbox One ports of Borderlands 2, Nintendo Switch port of Skyrim, and the Windows port of Tony Hawk 1+2 Remaster so I'd say they are qualified.

@Tasuki Do you think that it's very likely that THPS 3+4 shares very similar or the same exact gameplay mechanics as THPS 1+2? Is there a good chance that THPS 3+4 is just as good and successful as THPS 1+2?
@DarthMaster09 Well, they should since they belong to the same series maybe with some little improvements. Although I don't know for sure. I only ever played THPS3, yeah I played the Remasters of 1 and 2 but I couldn't compare them to the originals since I never played them.
THPS3 seems to be the crowd favorite so as long as they don't botch the Remaster, which I don't think Iron Galaxy will then it should do better sale wise the 1 and 2 did. Alot of people were disappointed when they announced the cancelation of it especially since they were close to finishing it. Which makes me wonder if Iron Galaxy is picking up where Vacarious Visions left off or did the do it from the ground up? Either way I don't think they will mess it up.

People have high expectations regarding THPS 1+2 remaster because Vicarious Visions did such a terrific job that doubts emerge since they are not involved in this new remaster. Keep waiting to see how the development unfolds even though there remains concern about the production. The remaster should retain the originalTony Hawk Pro Skater feeling. The coming development team should deliver something exceptional to the market.
Well some more info came out about it today. Apparently on the games official website a message can be spotted saying Loading New Parks. Which doesnt sound like a remaster of 3 and 4 cause why would it be new parks. So I am guessing maybe a Tony Hawk Pro Skater 6. I am disappointed that its not a remaster of 3 and 4 but I still have an original Xbox with a copy of 3 so I guess I will have to just stick to that. As for this new entry I might check it out depending on the reviews.

Was hoping for a shadow drop but it's nice knowing it's coming. I can't wait definitely day one purchase for me probably get it on Switch and on Series X if it comes to Gamepass. I would get it on PS4 sincre THPS3 has a special place in my heart as it was the first PS2 game I owned, but I have to see how that version comes out.
