Octodad Fumbles as New Patch Causes Save Data Issues

This week marks the return of everyone's favourite father figure, with the launch of two free Octodad: Dadliest Catch scenarios to wreak havoc with. Sadly, while you may be eager to play Doctor and Romeo in these extended episodes, the crustacean isn't the only catch, as players are reporting save data issues following the update.

The error in question corrupts your save file, leaving you having to relive your wedding day again. While developer Young Horses has acknowledged the problem and is working hard to fix it, it has shared a nifty trick that will help you out in the meantime. If you want all of your beloved levels to return without having to gruel through the everyday grind, simply hold right on the freeplay menu for five seconds, and everything will be unlocked. Looks like there will always be a place for good old cheat codes after all.
