Fat Princess: Piece of Cake Bulks Up on Vita in January

The fitness industry is one of the few markets that actually enjoys increased sales in January, but Sony Santa Monica is having none of that. The developer has announced that match-three puzzler Fat Princess: Piece of Cake will chow down on the PlayStation Vita in January. The free-to-play foray is already available on smartphones and tablets.

Repurposing the theme of Fun Bits Interactive's console release, this title sees you matching coloured bricks in order to see off all manner of vibrant infantries. Your ultimate goal is to safely guide the titular rotund royal to the throne at the end of each stage, without falling to the many foes along the way. This will mark the first of two new Fat Princess titles in 2015, with Fat Princess: Adventures also coming to the PlayStation 4 later in the year.
