Jammin'! There's Totally a New ToeJam & Earl in Development

There's a headline that we thought we'd never write. It would appear that Doki-Doki Universe developer HumaNature Studios is working on a new ToeJam & Earl game, according to a post on the franchise's Facebook page. The aforementioned studio is, of course, fronted by Greg Johnson, who created the zany series on the Mega Drive.

"Greetings from Funkotron," the intergalactic correspondence reads. "We haven't been posting as often lately because we've gotten really busy with the new ToeJam & Earl game. We will be making some announcements in probably three or four weeks, when we have something that we can show, and will be able to share lots of information with you."

The firm posted a few scribbles showing off the famous alien dudebros, but nothing from the actual game yet. It's been over ten years since the last title in this peculiar property, so we're eager to see what a new entry would look like in 2015. Are you worried that this could turn out to be totally bogus?
