Japanese developer CyberConnect2 is certainly busy these days. It's currently finishing off Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 as far as Western releases go, but it's also confirmed that it's working on three unannounced titles for "the new generation". Naturally, being based in the Land of the Rising Sun, we can go ahead and assume that all of these games will be heading to the PlayStation 4.
In an interview with Famitsu magazine, the company's president, Hiroshi Matsuyama, shone some light on the studio's recent recruitment advertisement, which featured numerous words and phrases in different sized fonts. According to Matsuyama, each font size represents a different project, and there are three in total.
The first set refer to a photo-realistic role-playing game that's being developed using the Unreal Engine 4, which sounds interesting in itself. The second set is about an open world title, while the third set points to a virtual reality based game.
They all sound like rather different types of titles, then, and it's clearly an exciting time for the developer. "For this generation, we're really going to do what we can in the console space," Matsuyama stated.
Intriguing, eh? How does this sound to you? Bombard us with your theories in the comments section below.

VR based game? Lol knowing them they may get anime rights and make SAO lol.
Can't wait for Storm 4 at all!
I'm interested I what open-world could be. That's what I've got my eye on here.
Interested in hearing more, folks love the Naruto games
@Alpha sad that kids today would refer to CC as making an SAO type game instead of referring to the games CC actually made which SAO's writer stole his entire concept from.
@3uster bro, I just seen SAO recently. I'm 22, I know what CC2 made, I have almost all the ps3 releases they made and used to own and have played some of there ps2 games. And I was referring to the fact they made anime based games like naruto, Jojo's bizarre adventure and the anime like game asuras wrath, so i was suggesting that they could get the rights to develop an rpg or open world game based on the universe of SAO. Because they have the talent for making anime into games and making amazing content, like they are good at doing. Or are you referring to not me and actual kids. And what are you trying to say with that last sentence? Cuz i read it as The writer stole the concept of SAO from cyberconnect2 lol cuz the only thing I could see how your right is the .hack games they developed. Which was then adapted into an anime. Which would show that they would know what they are doing. .hack started as a game, SAO started as a novel, then adapted into a manga and anime.
I'd rather it more like .hack, then sao. But that is just my personal preference, if we end up with a simulating VR game.
@Alpha I thought .hack started off as an anime first, then the games were made? I could be wrong though.
@ToddlerNaruto lol I assumed that but I decided to look it up. Lol. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/.hack
That says the first was a joint project between cyberconnect2 and bandai namco
Whole reason I mentioned SAO is cuz I just finished Season 1 and I absolutely loved it. I never seen or played .hack except I did know about. Lol in elementary my friend played it and we had fun. He was kite. That's the only character I know because my friend always called him xD
Please not sao, i watched it to see what the hype was all about and it was generic as hell..
Its nice to know they have the fonts ready :/ on a serious note, its good to hear someone is developing a game for unreleased tech, the support needs to start now if Morpheus is going to be a success.
@Alpha Thanks for correcting me, nice to know the .hack games came first. I also love SAO and .hack too.
Btw, how old are you? I'm 26 myself.
@ToddlerNaruto 22 I'll be turning 23 this may lol.
@Alpha Oh wow, no offense but I thought you were gonna say 20 lol .
Anyhoo xD...here's hoping one of these unannounced games is .hack// or SAO related.
