Guerrilla Games, you sly dogs! Much like The Last of Us teaser in Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, the Dutch developer stuffed a Horizon: Zero Dawn hint in PlayStation 4 launch title Killzone: Shadow Fall β it's just taken us all this time to notice. One eagle-eyed Twitter user uploaded the embedded video, ensuring to copy game director Mathijs de Jonge in β who subsequently confirmed the clue.
"Well spotted," he replied. "The robot did undergo some changes, though." The reference is at the very start of the game, so you may want to avoid the video if you're touchy about spoilers. Let's be honest, though β no one in their right mind should be concerned about spoilers in a Killzone game.

Someone must have eagle eyes to spot that. Just goes to show how long the development cycle for games like this is.
@RawShark They said they started it after finishing Killzone 3!!!
@get2sammyb I saw an interview with them at E3 and they said it was started around then. They had a skeleton crew working on it before the rest of the team joined then after Killzone: Shadow Fall released
See this is how it's done. Announce the game within a year of its planned release.
That's so much better than announcing games like FFXV or KH3 and waiting FOREVER to see them come to fruition.
