Two new challengers have entered the Street Fighter V ring: Birdie and Cammy. Well, that's according to a translation of German magazine Computer Bild, which referenced both of the new brawlers in an article on the upcoming PlayStation 4 console exclusive. The former fighter is an interesting addition, as he was a character in the franchise's very first outing, but hasn't been seen since Street Fighter Alpha 3.
Cammy, of course, is much more common. According to the publication, she'll play as "fast as ever", taking advantage of her pace and punishing melee attacks to put down opponents. Birdie, on the other hand, is reportedly quite a meaty character, so expect slower and more deliberate moves from him. We predict that, if accurate, both of these fighters will be revealed during Sony's press conference in a few hours' time.

Cammy is awesome, one of my favourite SF characters, glad to see she is returning.
Cammy's cool. Birdie's out of left field though. Never really liked him, but his theme in Alpha 3 was awesome.
@get2sammyb Capcom is shown some British love it seems.
The return of the criminal thug Birdie!
"HEEEY!"
For the first time since Street Fighter Alpha 3!
I am NOT ready!
@DerMeister Surely you can fully recall Karin Kanzuki`s.
Epic!
@James1993 That was a great theme too. Very catchy.
Here`s hoping for the return of Karin Kanzuki!
cammy.....no thanks, birdie....i dunno. glad its someone we havent seen in a long time but still. not a single character that i care about yet wonder if ill be forced to just use characters that i dont really care for. sad. really think gouken should be included. way too interesting to introduce him to sfiv and then just abandon him already. i just want brand new characters. it would be amazing if karin made it in SFV but ive heard that capcom doesnt have the rights to her that they belong to to manga company that she first appeared in. too bad she was my main in SFA3.
Cammy's my main character. Good news if it turns out to be true, and she's a popular character with the fanbase so no reason it shouldn't be.
