Yakuza 5 is due out later this year for the PlayStation 3, a whopping three years after its release in Japan. And it looks like Third-Party Productions chief Gio Corsi is getting ready to kickstart the long overdue localisation's marketing campaign, as a new interview has been uploaded to the PlayStation Blog outlining a little more information about the forthcoming game.
In it, Corsi is joined by series veterans Toshihiro Nagoshi and Masayoshi Yokoyama, who shed a little more light on the story, characters, and more. It's also confirmed in the video that Sony – alongside publisher SEGA – is now knee deep into localisation, with the entire game alongside all of its DLC packs being lovingly repurposed for the Western market. We can't wait.

Bizarrely, this is still one of my most anticipated games of the year.
@get2sammyb
Same here, I love the Yakuza series. I'm still hoping that Sega or Sony will release Yakuza 1&2 collection.
@shonenjump86 As much as I'd love that, I'd personally prefer Yakuza Zero - purely because it's a 'new' game. Can get the other ones on PS2, innit.
Can Sony and Sega also be busy porting Shenmue 1 and 2 as well
Personally I'm still hoping they release a physical version of the game even if it's only a limited run or something, I for one would much prefer this game on disc.
Other than that it's also very high on my wish list as well.
I played the Japanese version of both Yakuza Ishin and Yakuza Zero demos. Didn't know what was going on. lol I don't play games on my PS3 anymore, so Im kinda sad that there isn't a remastered version of Yakuza 5 for the PS4
