Yakuza 5 is a massive game that's going to take time to translate, but Sony hasn't forgotten that it promised to bring the release overseas. While the PlayStation 3 may be starting to feel like old news these days, we're still looking forward to continuing Kazuma Kiryu's story – even if we will have to dust off the aging machine before firing it back up.
And while there's no firm date confirmed for this oft-requested adventure yet, the title's official website has nailed down a more specific Fall 2015 release window. In the meantime, you should probably start tweeting Third-Party Productions chief Gio Corsi about Yakuza Zero, because we'd quite like that, too.

Definitely, would like to play both Yakuza Zero and Ishin. Hope they'll eventually get a Western release.
I've been playing 4 off and on over the last couple of weeks but it's appeal has faded quickly. It just feels very dated. Long cut scenes, limited "open" world (where you're essentially just ushered towards the next waypoint when trying to stray off path), and the character movements seem really clunky and unlifelike (for example, walking into a table, while inside a building, results in your character moon walking on the spot rather than stopping).
As 5 was released in 2012 in Japan I wonder if it's going to seem as dated as 4 does when it releases here.
I want to play but I don't even bother to turn my PS3 on anymore. I could barely deal with its nonsense back in 2009, in 2015 after a couple years using the PS4, forget it. Great library of games, horribly designed piece of hardware.
I became a fan after getting 4 on plus so that worked for them
Yeah, it's been a good little while since I tuned on the PS3, but with this game and J Stars Victory I'll be on there for a little bit.
@shonenjump86 I believe J stars Victory is also coming to PS4.
@Shellybird27
It is, and I would get it for the PS4, but sadly I don't have a PS4 . Not yet anyways, so the PS3 version will have to do.
