You'll be able to get your classic Resident Evil fix from a single Blu-ray disc starting next year, as Capcom has announced the Resident Evil Origins Collection for the PlayStation 4. Due out from 19th January in North America and 22nd January in Europe, the box set will include both Resident Evil HD and Resident Evil Zero HD.
Of course, the latter game will be available as a standalone download from the PlayStation Store, and will launch in early 2016 for the PS4 and the PS3 for £14.99/$19.99. The publisher also announced today that the title will feature a new Wesker Mode, which will see you playing as the bleached blond villain in an all-new scenario also starring Rebecca Chambers.
You can check both out courtesy of the trailers embedded below. Will you be stumping up for the retail compilation of these remasters, or sticking to the digital versions? Sign up for S.T.A.R.S. in the comments section below.

might get this, not a fan of digital downloads to be honest so I didn't get RE:Make
I love Rebecca's new costume.
I bought REmake on the PS4 but have hardly got a chance to play it. I'll get this physical version when it comes out.
It's nice that Capcom is coming back, of course, but it's unfortunate that they have to keep releasing the same games in order to do it.
So Capcom just gonna live off remakes, Street Fighter & Monster Hunter?
Imma get this though
Was waiting for RE:make to hit Playstation plus before acquiring but this is also very tempting!
Another one to add to the list, I was tempted to download but now I'll get both on disc 😀
Then Resident Evil 2 to follow and with FF7 coming my PS4 is turning into an awesome PS1
Ah, c'mon. I just bought the remake of RE1 on PS4, and now this?!
Oh well, if the price is reasonable, I'll buy it anyways. I prefer physical stuff, and was planning on getting the RE0 remaster anyways.
I'm never buying another digital release on PSN again that has even the most remote chance of a future physical release.
Of course, I'll get this, despite just having bought RE. Ima wait for a super sale though and hit that GCU discount on top of it
Two classic games with added bonuses for $40? Sorry, I've gotta get that Deadpool port that'll most likely have framerate issues and tearing for $50 instead.
The market is so messed up right now.
I'll get this then, been wanting the remake but digital only doesn't I entice me to jump in right away. Hmm now I wonder if RE2 remake will be physical as well ?
@FullbringIchigo Same here, though mainly because I won't have a PS4 until Fall 2016.
Hopefully the collection will be $30 New by then.
Sold!
