Xbox One owners will unlock early access to The Division's beta later this month β but fortunately, you'll only have to wait 24 hours if you plan to play the game on your PlayStation 4. After rumours earlier in the week, Ubisoft has confirmed that the online stress test for its squad-based third-person role-playing shooter (!) will begin on 29th January and run through 31st January.
To garner access to the deceptive demo you'll need to pre-order the game, but don't worry about deposits and stuff β Amazon will get you a code without asking you to put any cash down. There's still no word on what the beta will actually include, but it's safe to assume that you'll have access to a sliver of the game's urban map, as well as a handful of quests to try.

Ah, so this is where the Assassin's creed multiplayer ended up.
After the fantastic surprise Siege was, I'll be checking this out and praying it's another good surprise.
There's alot of potential, but my expectations are pretty low at the moment.
I'm really keen to check this game out. It has the potential to be the new Destiny. Hate it when Beta tests are locked behind preordering though, guess I'll preorder from Amazon and then cancel it.
What tom clancy game just came out last october? I thought it was this one... I've become a person who can't tell games apart.
@_get2sammyb hey, how exactly would i get a pre order without having to pay? amazon asked me for the full price. there was no pay later option.
