@sub12 Pffth. Women are always treated like they'll fall apart any minute in Japan. That's never gonna change as long as most young women willingly act like cutesy princesses. You have these all girl band idols too. You're basically better of being 16 forever, only problem is. Nobody can.

@Riririn Except in Japan there's a bucking trend that the women are more in charge than men. Women act like the examples you use as it gives them an upper hand. Sex sells, always has and will. In Japan the majority like girls like that and the women use it and get stupidly rich off of it. It's the men in Japan that are the problem, not the women.

@rastamadeus @riririn women here have much more power than it seems, essentially controlling all the money in any household and giving their husbands a daily stipend to use for lunch (out of the money the husbands earn). The men like to think they are in control and I guess that gives rise to all the perverted media (although it's worth noting that sex in Japan is not beholden to any antiquated religious beliefs and therefore is viewed very differently to how it's seen in the west).

It's fun to eat ice-cream this way for the first couple of licks (especially since you can lick the top little curly-cue off). But unless you're careful and rotate the cone as you lick, you're asking for your ice-cream to fall off (not fun).
