When we stop and think about it, it almost seems like a dream. When we turn up at the Push Square office tomorrow, Final Fantasy XV will have an actual release date. Can you believe that? After ten years of waiting, Square Enix is finally ready to tell us when we can expect to get our hands on the action role-playing game - and you know what? We're genuinely pretty excited.
The release date itself will be announced tonight at a big event titled Uncovered: Final Fantasy. We'll have a livestream of the show right here on Push Square, but just to make sure that you don't miss out, we've put together this quick guide on starting times for the event. Apparently, the show will last around two hours, and there'll be plenty of new gameplay to gawk at.
What time does Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV start?
- North America (Pacific): 19:00PM (30th March)
- North America (Central): 21:00PM (30th March)
- North America (Eastern): 22:00PM (30th March)
- United Kingdom: 03:00AM (31st March)
- Central Europe: 04:00AM (31st March)
- Australia (Eastern): 13:00PM (31st March)
- Japan: 11:00AM (31st March)

All-nighter here we come.
@ShogunRok
I have felt hype and fatigue concerning this title multiple times over. It is time, and I swear if they put the release date for sometime in November or December I am going to lose my proverbial shet. Square, do wants right, release in June!
@Majic12 by God, please not June. I already have to get like a handful games in that month alone
I'll just come here and read the cliff notes. Unless i'm being paid, i would never voluntarily subject myself to seeing or hearing greg miller do anything.
tbh, I feel like it looks pretty horrible, and have never been less excited for a FF game. But I could be in the minority on that.
I'm guessing 27th September
@Majic12 SE also has Star Ocean coming out tomorrow in Japan w/ no western release date set yet, but I'd bet SO releases in the west first, so there is no way we get FFXV before September. I think Sept 30th is the current leak/rumour. You are probably right with November though, whether you want to be or not.
As much as I'd like to know the date, I am not setting aside 2 hours of prime time - i's 10-12 for me - for info about 1 game. I'll watch the first 5 minutes to see if the date is the lead, then check back here before going to bed around midnight.
@rjejr I know deep down that it's going to be a Holiday release schedule, it's to big of a franchise not to be. I just personally would like to have it sooner, but to be honest I am MUCH MORE hyped about No Man's Sky and Hyper Light Drifter.
@BodyW-outOrgans I'm the same. The battle system looks woeful to me.
This is probably coming in October. I am not pulling an all nighter but I might set up an alarm clock...maybe.
I'll just wait for the reports on the release date.
@BodyW-outOrgans I think most people are just curious about how a game a decade in the making turns out, rather than actually being excited for it. I'm kinda the same way, honestly.
I'll just read about it tomorrow after the wonderful writers here stay up all night 😅
@rjejr Well, you probably don't have to worry about Star Ocean now-

@DerMeister I'm not worried, but thanks. But late June for SO5 does mean Sept or later for FFXV. Before Black Friday though.
But of course the real question is - will there be a delay from tonight's announced release date? 50-50 on that I think.
Basically just started the Witcher 3 and at only an hour or two an evening I will still be busy when FF XV finally comes out.
Yes! I feel like I've been waiting a third of my life for this!
Oh wait...
September 30th according to a leaked vid
@DerMeister @rjejr
Woah! WOAH! That post just made my day!
So, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE (aka Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem) releases June 24th, and Star Ocean V: Integrity and Faithfulness releases June 28th...
Amazing!
@JaxonH Sounds like those two days will keep you busy for quite a while.
@JaxonH Lucky for you Nintendo is saying "Summer 2016" for MHG, which for Nintendo usually means Sept or Oct, so you have some time for these, b/c I know you'll drop everything for that one.
I'm just gonna leave you this link here to annoy shogun

July 31st according to the good ol' trusty BestBuy listing. Don't worry, as you know I'm BestBuy CEO. I'll start firing people left and right if this date is wrong
@dryrain
Ya I just saw that here:
http://www.dualshockers.com/2016/03/30/final-fantasy-xvs-release-date-leaked-early-by-gamestop/
Coupled with the past leak of Sept 30th a few weeks ago, it's now all but confirmed.
Hurray for Sept 30 then!
@JaxonH Amazon has July 31st for MHG as well so you might be good to go. Though they still have Dec 31 for FFXV, even the Deluxe Edition says Dec 31 which makes no sense as thy announced it with the date last night.
Man, those FFXV covers look HORRIBLE w/ the Xbox green border on top compared to the PS4 blue. And I'm not even saying that as a Sony fanboy and somebody who has never owned any Xboxen, that green is just so NOT FF friendly.
