There's a new update out for Fallout 4 on PlayStation 4 - but don't get excited just yet. According to Bethesda, the latest patch is only an incremental update - in other words, the developer's just bringing the game up to speed with other platforms.
Apparently, the patch adds in Trophy support for the upcoming add-on, Wasteland Workshop, but it weighs in at around 2.4GB, so it's safe to say that there's probably some meat to the file. Said downloadable content releases on the 12th April, and it got its own official trailer earlier today, which you watch through here. As far as we're aware, the add-on will boast three new virtual trinkets to get your hands on.
Are you still playing Fallout 4? Are you looking forward to the DLC? Patch yourself up in the comments section below.

Bugger! I was hoping it was for the hardcore mode. It's all I'm waiting on to delve in again fresh from the beginning.
I've stopped playing Fallout recently. I got fed up of the settlement issues; zero water, food etc. Having to constantly travel back to settlements - to stop happiness levels dropping like a stone - become a chore, and a diversion from the gameply.
I have no intention of playing it further, until the issues are fixed. Which is such a shame, because I think the game is excellent, otherwie.
@Bloodguard I stopped playing as I accidentally killed a Brotherhood of steel npc and now they hate me. So I cant progress that mission line.
@themcnoisy first rule of Bethesda is multiple save files
@themcnoisy
You could always carry on with the factions left, then restart anew to follow the Brotherhood storyline!?
I will still be playing Fallout 4 for years to come. I was still playing Fallout 3 GOTY edition up until the release of F4. I really wish Bethesda would consider a few remasters of their games.
@Bloodguard @ztpayne7 Yeah I could - maybe I will continue as I am. Bad times, I haven't picked the game up since.
@themcnoisy
I think the game is excellent (sorry for repeating myself) on the whole. Because it has so many different options.
Can we get a patch that makes Preston leave me alone? If he had his way the whole map would be covered in settlements.
This looks fun, I'll have to build some Deathclaw arenas and trap some raiders in them 😃
@themcnoisy
The brotherhood is the best faction IMO, I've previously allied with the Minuteman and Railroad in past playthroughs. I'm going through the game currently (for the second time, we'll I've already beat the main storyline with the Brotherhood)......and I'm enjoying it much more, granted, this time I've skipped settlement building completely, and I think it's for the better (obviously you still have to craft, but that's fine in my book).
@Neolit
Railroad = idiotic idealist that are borderline terrorist
Minuteman = neutral faction that are also the most boring
Brotherhood = militaristic, but also the most fun to play as
Institute = a bunch of rich yuppie snobs
I went with the railroad. I liked that bunch. It suited my stealth playstyle too.
@Bloodguard I ignore my settlements 100%.
I do plan on doing a survival run, which will require that I care about the settlements, but I'm here to play Fallout, not a Sim game, not Farmville.
Just let me roam around and blast some Mutes and Raiders, and steal their stuff.
@WARDIE I hate to say it but as much as I'm enjoying FO4, if they did a remaster of FO3 I'd almost forget about FO4. My heart is in that ugly mess of a PS3 game.
I would love it if they would release a PS4 version of FO3 that was at least as good as the PC version, mods and all now that we can do it. My video game spending would drop to near nil after that came out, probably for years to come.
I totally agree buddy. I should have said "a PS4 version or a PC port" because I absolutely loved Fallout 3.
Im not sure why Bethesda haven't done an updated version of either Skyrim or Fallout 3 since they're very popular games, and of course would make Bethesda a tonne of money.
I would happily pay £100 for an anthology of either The Elder Scrolls of the Fallout series that had all dlc included with it. That would probably be my only game purchase of the year.
@glassmusic
You play it how you wish! That's entirely up to you.
But Bethesda did make a massive deal of it at E3, and personally...I like that aspect of the game. I just wish it would run like it's supposed to!
@Bloodguard I totally agree!
I wasn't at all attacking your play style, just putting my own out there as a contrast. I LOVE that FO4 allows users so much freedom. I wasn't even aware that things weren't running smoothly on the settlement front until your comment! They've definitely got to fix that.
Then again, what would a Bethesda game be without a few bugs at launch?
@WARDIE Absolutely. If I had Skyrim and FO3 on my PS4, I'd be lost in those worlds for hundreds and hundreds of hours, each.
@glassmusic
Sorry, I didn't mean to sound confrontational!
On the whole it is a very good game, and as you say... it's Bethesda. I've been on many forums, looking for an answer to the settlement issues. Unfortunately, none of the answers supplied work, and lots of people seem to be having the problems.
I find it rather annoying, that Bethesda have issued dlc without fixing the bugs and whatnot in the main game first. Don't get me wrong, they have addressed a lot of the issues with their patch releases, but this particular problem is a longstanding one. And one that (depending on gameplay choices) is an integral part of the game.
