Fallout 4's survival mode is finally out of its own beta and, er, into another. The new mode is available right now on PC as part of the game's 1.5 update beta - and that means a console version of the patch can't be far off. If we had to guess, we'd say that it'll probably be available to download within the next couple of weeks.
Survival mode isn't the only thing that the latest update brings, however. Bethesda also mentions "third person camera movement improvements when player is close up against walls and other objects". Hopefully this'll make third person gunfights a little less jarring when indoors. Of course, the patch will provide a slew of smaller bug fixes, too, but there's nothing that really jumps out at us other than the fact that you'll be able to assign robots as vendors in your settlements.

Third person improvements.
I'm very much looking forward to this, but I probably won't hit it up until mods are available so that I can really tweak the experience in whatever ways I want.
Looking forward to another playthrough in this mode. I might buy Automatron too for a decent companion.
I have other things on my list to play - so a second playthrough will have to wait til all the DLC and mods are out. Still, probably won't play on Survival. haha.
Waiting this to play BoS and Railroad missions! But now it's DS3 time!
Super stoked!
