A brief update from Bandai Namco on the Western release of PlayStation 4 console exclusive JRPG Tales of Berseria: it'll launch in Early 2017 across Europe and North America on Sony's new-gen system. You can read a little more about the title's battle format through here – it's obviously due out in Japan a little earlier, on 18th August.
For those unfamiliar with this latest entry in the long-running Tales series, it's set in the same general world as Tales of Zestiria, though occurs many years in the past. You'll play as a character called Velvet Crowe, a 19-year-old pirate with elaborate hair and an even more elaborate outfit. Expect much more on this game in the run up to its Japanese launch.

Looking forward to this one alot.I Suppose I'll have to start Tales Of Zestiria that I have had for months.keep getting told its not that good so been putting it off.
I wonder if the battle system will still feel similar to Zestiria. Compared to other Tales games, I wasn't a huge fan of it.
I hope the older world looks a lot less plain. I didn't enjoy zestiria as much as graces or zillia and the world in zestiria just felt dull .Maybe in berseria the landscape will be more lively and vibrant. As for the combat I found this way to easy and even on harder settings it's not a major challenge. I am actually a fan of tales of, I was just a little disappointed with zestiria. Hopefully berseria will be a kick ass game.
Hard to be really hyped about this because of Zestiria, but hopefully they learned from it.
Wow, that outfit lol...
Glad to get a target release window finally.
Has this one been specifically made for the PS4? I think Zestria was both a PS3 and PS4 game, in japan at least, which probably held it back somewhat at least.
Namco has really gotten crazy about this series, it seems like there is one every year now. Kinda wish they tried to put some more time and effort into them.
