Well, we've known for a while now, but it's finally been officially confirmed: Titanfall 2 is coming to PlayStation 4. EA's just launched a teaser trailer online, which reveals that a big gameplay blowout is coming on the 12th June. In other words, the shooter's going to play a big part at the publisher's E3-esque show in the summer. Way to drag it out, eh?
As for the teaser trailer itself, don't expect anything too amazing. Some gritty narration and a big robot sword is all you're getting, sadly, although we're sure that EA will be squeezing every drop of hype from this that it possibly can over the next couple of months.

OH YES! I don't like multiplayer FPSs, but Titanfall was awesome and I can't wait for this one
Might get this but only if it has single player or multiplayer campaign.
It'd be suicidal to not release it on ps4
First titanfall was half baked, however there was enough there to suggest titanfall 2 could be the best console pvp FPS ever imo, this game will be amazing . It's one of those games that has great 'moments' like 2 pilots ejecting at the same time, and headshotting someone while you're both 100ft in the air......quality
I will only buy it if it has a 10hr+ single player campaign.
Call me old-fashioned but I have no desire to play non co-op multiplayer games...I prefer fighting AI than battle annoying humans. I've tried and tried but I just can't get myself to enjoy playing against others. I am not competitive at all.
I quite enjoyed the first game initially but the lack of a single player campaign, limited weapon choice, limited game modes, limited customisation and increasingly annoying and frustrating 'challenges' that force you to play a specific way and with terrible weapons just to 'regenerate' ultimately led me to loathe this game. The multi-player 'campaign' was poor too - basically alternating modes between TDM and Hardpoint over 9 maps and then do it all again with the other team.
I really hope that Respawn learn from its mistakes because at its core, this game had some good mechanics and the game-play wasn't that bad. It eventually added more content - customisation and a horde style mode but by that time it was too late.
I must admit, some of the Maps looked great - Boneyard was a parricular favourite with its 'Dragons' but some didn't play very well....
Put in a good singleplayer campaign and I'll buy. Glad to see Zampella got his wish and his idiotic employers didn't avoid the PS4 again.
I really liked the look of the first game but it wasn't on PS4 so interested in this one though hopefully it has a proper single player campaign this time.
The first Titan fall was actually freaking awesome. Well, the game play was at least. But there just wasn't enough content to keep people interested. I'm hoping this time they bring a single player campaign as well and have much better fleshed out progression for the multi-player. It's great that they're bringing it to ps4 this time because Playstation owners definitely missed out.
Wake me up when they reinvent the FPS as we know it in Titanfall 4 which I'm sure will be amazing.
@Anchorsam_9 After Black Ops 3 they really need to up their game. I really enjoyed Titanfall, but Black Ops 3 was much better imo.
Hope it comes with a nice single player story to immerse my escapism into a titanfall world. If it's just multiplayer I'll pick it up on sale thanks!
@BAMozzy I totally agree with what you said. But my experience varyed.....I played on pc and it had hardcore hackers my the second week.....
@AyeHaley I agree. Where did all the single player campaigns go? Where is my Star Wars Battlefront 2 where I don't have to wait for a server to load. I like multi-player too, but I'll take co-op and bots over that anyday.
@BladeRider and by the third week they had to cut one of the game-modes because their wasn't enough people playing to get a game...
I think I remember reading somewhere that Titanfall 2 would be third person, is there any truth in this?
@Anchorsam_9
@Gamer83
"Put in a good singleplayer campaign and I'll buy."
^^^
So much this.
-Online Requirement
-No Single Player
If either of these holds true, then the game is an automatic pass.
As with all games...
Singleplayer or no buy.
@itshoggie That's a huge plus for me, if it's true.
I think any multiplayer only game shouuld have at least 15 maps instead of the standard 10
having played Titanfall i can say it had potential but by limiting itself to being multiplayer only it died pretty quick
for this one to succed it needs staying power and a full blown single player mode would help that not to mention more varied multiplayer modes
@Bliquid Sure, take it all you want!
Respawn has all but guaranteed that their WILL BE a single player campaign this time around. They heard the complaints and they know they have a great formula on their hands it just needs a little tweaking and more content. I got a feeling they will knock this one out of the park.
The older I get the less twitch FPS I am into. Reflexes not being what they used to be and such. Titanfall looks meh-ch to me. I hope the FPS lovers enjoy it though.
I am not sure I never got to play the first game. Not sure it will be the top of my list I will look at concentrating on PSVR titles later in the year.
@shosbu then why comment on this subject?, when you clearly have no interest. Wow check out www.Arthritis .Com will help with your fingers . Reflex never leaves you, playing games is hardly a athletic sport.
