There's something incredibly satisfying about lopping off the limbs of giant demons in Toukiden, and we're glad that Toukiden 2's new trailer seems to agree with us. Full of hacks, slashes, and weird, powerful spirit hands, the action role-playing title's fresh video's full of new gameplay clips.
Due out later this year on PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in Japan, we'll no doubt be hearing a lot more about the release over the next few weeks. Officially, Toukiden 2 hasn't been announced for the West yet, but we're expecting that to change before the year's out.

Game is looking sharp, I enjoyed the first one!
Toukiden Kiwami is one of my favorite PS4 games to date. I played the Japanese demo for Toukiden 2 and was a bit disappointed in the performance. The framerate around town was all over the place and usually below the 30 cap. At least most combat seem locked at 30... but it's still a shame that they didn't optimize this a bit more for PS4. The ps4 version is almost certainly just a simple port of the Vita version with HD textures.
Doesn't look too bad. However, I was disappointed with the framerate and how the PS vita played. Especially with the characters since I don't find them unique compared to Kiwami's, mostly with the male characters. They looked bland as hell compared to Ibuki, Fugake and Hayatori's design.
@NathanUC Yeah, I played the Japanese demo and a bit disappointed with framerate in the village as well. Find it odd, that during combat it was fine though. Anyways, I liked the open world and thought the village was great and not as boring as the previous one in Toukiden since we able to now rotate the camera round.
For those who played the demo when it first came out, there was an update sometime over the weekend.
Haven't tried it out yet (cursed work schedule and I have other games to play as well) but I'd guess some things may have been fixed.
Looks pretty good. Played the first one on vita and enjoyed it quite a bit. Still think that the best native "monster hunter" on vita is Soul Sacrifice. This year is fantastic for MH type of games - this game and God Eater coming west AND to vita to boot. Mmmm... erection.
