Following the leak of Titanfall 2's single player trailer earlier today, EA gave us our first glimpse of the sci-fi shooter's multiplayer mode. Check it out below.
It looks fast-paced and frenetic, which should come as no surprise to anyone who's played the original game. The verticality and free-running gameplay appears to have been amped up a bit, and the mechs look punchy and powerful. This will be the first time PlayStation gamers will get a taste of this robo-action, and it looks pretty good to us.
Titanfall 2 releases on 28th October 2016 - just a week after DICE's Battlefield 1. Are you happy to see Respawn's sequel come to PlayStation 4? Will you be picking it up this October? Watch your six in the comments section below.

They have amped up a bit more than just free running. The Titans appear to have more abilities and the grappling hook is new too...
Grappling hooks and punching robots in the face with other robots. AWESOME!
Oh man so many great games coming out this winter! I won't have any money left ><.
I have to say Titanfall 2 looks to be the most heart thumping fps, you'll ever play. The action in mp looks amazing
@Bazza78 Yeah - the game-play of the first was never an issue - lack of variety, campaign etc was but this looks to be addressed.
The Titans seem to have a number of new abilities - ground pound, flinging you etc...
I still do think its funny that people are looking forward to TF with its Advanced Movement but criticising CoD for its Advanced (virtually identical) Movement...
This is my 2nd most anticipated FPS (at the moment) ahead of BF1 - Infinite Warfare looks a less linear campaign and has Zombies too. Ex Naughty Dog developers as well! MP could be fun - like BO3's! TF2 though looks like it will be fun as well so looking forward to that....
Neo mode will hopefully improve on the 900/60 visuals that Frostbite games have on PS4 (720/60 on XB1) so hope that gets released this winter - especially as BF1 (also frostbite) has Fog and we know how that affects frame rates....
@BAMozzy Totally agree. What do you make of the grappling hook? In the sense that do you think it will be standard for all pilots, or is it a perk gun attachment ?
@Bazza78 It kind of reminds me a bit of the grappling hook in Advanced Warfare. I think it going to be a standard piece of equipment though to get around quicker and makes getting into your Titan a bit cooler too. I think it could be a bit unbalanced unless everyone has one. If its a perk, gun attachment etc, then you would need a very good reason to pick something else because the advantage that could give could be unfair.
It looks like it replaces the Ziplines from the Original which if that is the case, should give more freedom of movement - you are not restricted to just those Ziplines.
Actually watching the trailer back, the grappling hook is a selectable ability - it has a cooldown and activated by L1 in the trailer but others have a different Icon there so it looks like an option...
@BAMozzy yeah watching the trailer the grappling hook fires from the gun. Also there seems to be a teleport option of sorts (or maybe even time rewind) see the bit were he disappears and then punches they guy. Maybe perks. Cooldowns aplenty so it's obviously a perk i see a Ninja star projectile too.
The teleport could be cloaking but did look more like 'Glitch' from BO3. It looks like that 'wall' hack (highlight enemies in red) was an ability/perk thing to . There are a few different icons that show up and have cool down timers. It looks like that will give more variation in the game-play - much more than the previous game - that combined with more Titans and hopefully more weapons and modes, will give it more longevity.
I wonder if this will have Burn Cards? I wouldn't miss them if not...
@BAMozzy i phucking hated burn cards. A "amped" LMG pffffffffffftt. I actually Wouldn't mind them going down the class based route in TF2 ,ie a agile fast moving and map traversing pilot can only have a light armoured agile titan....
@Bazza78 As I said - wouldn't miss them if they aren't in TF2....
I must admit, I'm finding these games all to be very similar.
