We've lost count of how many trailers 2K Games has released for Mafia III, but we're pretty sure that none of them have been as comprehensive as the video that we've embedded above. The clip contains around 16 minutes of gameplay from next month's sandbox crime-'em-up, highlighting the various ways that you can tackle missions.
Truth be told, both the stealth elements and the gunplay look pretty standard, but we're still loving the feel of the 1960s setting, and the cutscenes seem to tell an enticing story.
Will you be picking up Mafia III in just a couple of weeks? Go guns blazing in the comments section below.

I watched this at EGX on the big screen but it didn't help me decide if I want the game of not. Like you say in the article, the cutscenes and setting seem to tell a great story but the gameplay doesn't look anything special. I was hoping for a hands on at EGX to help me decide.
This is the most excited I've been about a game in a long time. Everything about it just appeals to me. The setting, the music, the gameplay. Hope it holds up.
Looks like it's going to be a great game, can't wait to play it.
I felt like I got mugged when I bought Mafia 2 no chance I am going to be buying this game.
Looks like your basic third person shooter. The graphics looks good the atmosphere is pretty good especially the music. The stealth doesn't look too good, Everyone facing in the same direction and the A.I is not too bright.
Just under 2 weeks I can not wait.
HhhhhhhhhhhhHYYYYYYPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!! Just concerns me whether this is still a Mafia game though......
Have to set this game on my list for later purchases. Too many games being released in October so something has to be put on the back burner. Looks fun though.
Watching this has given me hope that the enemy A.I. Is not totally idiot as other trailers/game play have displayed. Like nobody noticing the Rambo on meth guy stabing their cohort in the head with a big hunting knife just 20 or 30 feet from them. The A.I. still looked weak. However i like lots of action, shoot outs, and wild car chases with good A.I. or not. Good A.I. just makes it all much more interesting.
One thing seems certain and that is the created game world, music, and cars looks to offer pleasure in just cruising around.
