Wow, 134 issues of What Are You Playing and this is maybe... The third or fourth time that Overlord Barker hasn't put it together? That's some dedication right there, but enough waffling - it's time to find out what we're going to be playing on this rather grey but warm UK weekend.

It's taken me about 35 hours, but I've finally finished Fallout 4's Nuka World expansion. The plan was to have a review out earlier this week, but with My Boi Sammy B. on holiday and the workload that comes with covering an event like the PlayStation Meeting, it's no surprise that it got pushed back. Here's hoping that I can tie up any loose ends this weekend and have a review for you lot in the very near future.

My goal to completely clear my Destiny quest log, ahead of Rise of Iron's arrival, is nearly complete thanks to some help from the illustrious Push Square community. With only two quests left to cross off, this weekend I might actually get around to playing more of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, or watch the numbers go up in the hopelessly addictive AdVenture Capitalist.

This weekend sees the return of the Premier League after the International break, so I'll be watching football most of the weekend and jumping onto PES 2016 with some friends. That said, I'm sure I'll find some time to get back on World of Warcraft some more - that, and a non-disclosed review title which should go up early next week.

I've been down with a nasty case of bronchitis for the past two weeks, but I'm mostly over it by this point, and that's why I felt like giving The Witness a go for its calming, laid back puzzles. I'll be sure to chip away at that some more this weekend, but what I'd really love to do is conquer Ludwig in Bloodborne's The Old Hunters. Even with a summoned NPC, he's an absolute beast to bare in NG+, so I hope I can move forward soon... If I don't run out of Insight first.
Ken Talbot, Reviewer
I finally replaced my old 60BG PS3 after it was felled by the dreaded amber light, so I'm picking up Yakuza 5, which has been on my wishlist for a while.
Marcello Apostolico, Reviewer
This weekend I'm planning on putting even more time in with Resident Evil 4 - which I just finished reviewing. I also just got the physical copy of Shadow Complex Remastered (from Limited Run Games), so I'm looking forward to seeing what all the hype was about back in the day. Then I'm thinking I'll clock in some time going somewhat old-school with my Dreamcast - I've been hooked on Xtreme Sports.

I'm on review duty again this weekend as I toil away in soviet-flavoured working-togetherness title, The Tomorrow Children. If I get some free time, I'll also be trying out the new Rumble mode in Rocket League, which introduces power-ups. As if the game needed more ways to cause chaos.

This weekend I will be introducing some co-workers of mine to Overwatch during the free weekend. Also going to go some boot-on-the-ground CoD with Black Ops 2.
That's us done for another week, but as always, don't forget to tell us what you're planning on playing in the comments section below.

Bonk's Revenge! for the TurboGrafx-16, but played via the VC (just completed Bonk's Adventure.............what a great little platformer series, it kicks the crap out of Alex Kidd in Miracle World, that's for sure)
Going to wait for my replacement ps3 (since my last one died straight out of the box)
The Witcher 3, loving it so far.
My big plans involve some God Eater 2 and jumping into Star Trek Online for the first time. Hopefully it'll offer a pleasant surprise, but if not I'll most likely revert back to carrying on with Far Cry Primal.
@Octane
Game of this gen IMO, I'm on the fence for PS4 Pro, but if CD Projekt announces a 60 FPS update, I'm buying that console so fast......
Deus ex... No doubt about it.
Gonna jump into the NFS Rivals complete edition that i got from the latest EU sale for a tenner. Also college work and some Uncharted 4 multiplayer.
@Octane Mannn I wish I could love Witcher 3. I always get a craving for it, install it and find myself bored pretty quick. Dunno what my beef is.
I'm pushing on with Dwus Ex as I havnt played it much in the past week. Just got to London. Stealth has largely gone out the window and I'm going full commando. Maybe I'll clear this today and pick up something else...
Batman Arkham Asylum on 360. Playing through on Hard to try and finish off all my last gen games so I can retire it and fully move on to current gen.
I've been replaying Bloodborne as well, though I restarted from scratch rather then go into a new NG cycle. Seemed more interesting to try another build instead of more LHB spam.
Currently stuck on Laurence, but I'll get him.
Gonna continue playing overwatch and rogue legacy on vita. I want to get back into hyper light drifter but i cant seem to get back. Really craving some Zelda but Ocarina of time 3d isnt doing thr trick so i might pick up oceanhorn or skyward sword now that its on wii u vc. Not sure about that though. Without breath of the wild, yooka laylee, or horizon im kinda in my own gaming dry spell.
@Bananaman678 Fez
Videoball for half an hour and then finally get around to some more Driveclub. 1 more gold needed in the downforce expansion and its really annoying!
I've been on a hella good run of form as I have managed to platinum my last 4 PS4 games in a row. However today I have finally gotten around to Bloodborne & I have a feeling that the run will come to an end.
I'm also playing the Mega Man Legacy Collection in between sessions & the input lag has been a serious issue. I know the collection was designed to be that way but it feels proper weird when going from Bloodborne to Mega Man 1 & vice versa.
On the Vita I'm still playing God Eater: Resurrection, but I'm kinda getting bored of it.
I gotta prep for rise of iron.
@Fight_Teza_Fight Bloodborne plat is very attainable. You can technically do it in one playthrough, with very minor some save-scumming for 3 particular trophies.
Also, suddenly a whole bunch of people are playing bloodborne again, whatsupwitdat!
PS4- Street Fighter V, King of Fighters 14
Xbox One- Dead or Alive 5 LR, Rise of the Tomb Raider
3DS- Animal Crossing New Leaf
Wii U- Bayonetta 1&2
Alienation is soooo good - having a blast playing my bro. We are currently playing Hardcore mode which is perma-death for your character (!) I've had to start from scratch three times already.
Another game I can't wait to start is The Tower Of Monsters - looks refreshing and hilarious!
Gonna try to play some more F1 2016 this weekend. I'm trying to complete a full season before Forza Horizon 3 hits in a few weeks.
after finished the light world in super meat boy is time for more hardcore games
got dark souls 3 thanks to the sale of bandai namco on xbox
star fox zero, project mirai dx, luigi's mansion dark moon, resident evil hd
and resident evil 2.
Oh and overwatch thanks to the free weekend, is a fun game.
happy weekend!!
Been out of gaming this week as I've had a bad throat infection but started up a new playthrough of the last of us remastered. Less than a week to bioshock collection!
Playing Rocket League and FIFA 16 as always, but with a healthy dosage of Dark Souls II and Star Wars Battlefront. Particularly Rocket League at the moment because I'm loving the new update and Rumble Mode.
Again,I STILL have failed to finish Persona 4 Golden which defiantly isant a bad thing as I have loved all 77 hours of it so far!So will continue my adventure plus if Overwatch ever downloads I'll try that
Oh and will be trying to plat Lego The Movie too.
Just polished off Deus Ex - what now?!
Still playing ape escape 2 on ps4.
I'm back baby! Today at 1 am I will be arriving home with a copy of Deus Ex to try out, also playing Overwatch ranked mode and League of Legends this weekend!
I will try Lords of the Fallen too
I will be trying Overwatch this weekend.
The rest, as predicted, will be continuing my Diva X playthrough. Tracks dont impress at first, but they sure are slow burners, and lots of variety.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky on my Vita.
Fantastic JRPG.
@Mega-Gazz Yh it looks that way. 7% have the platinum which is insane, but then again that might say more about the player base then difficulty.
I'll give it a go in my second play through as I want my first to be blind. No trophies are truly missable though due to New Game+, right?
Still playing through MGSV and I love it! I have a feeling I'm getting close to whatever the second act supposedly is, so I hope I don't start to dislike it.
@kyleforrester87 ive been wanting to try that game out!! I think ill get it for vita though not ps4
When my off days roll around, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. If I have the energy after work today, I'm going to try Overwatch since it's free this weekend.
@Bananaman678 It's crossbuy either way Good game between games I reckon!
If it were any other weekend, I would be seeing what all the overwatch fuss was about and playing it tons. But phoenix wright spirit of justice came out on thursday, and so that is the only thing I'll be playing for a while now! So far, as expected really, it's amazing!
I borrowed Uncharted 4 off a mate so i'll be continuing with that. It plays at a constant 30fps (mostly) and looks stunning, who needs a Pro?
I also bought the legendary Streets Of Rage on my 3DS and i'm trying not to lose a single life but it's much harder than i remember. My skills have been softened by all the easy peasy modern games.
Gonna start a Witcher 3 Complete Edition play through, with some Rocket League thrown in there some. Hopefully, going to pick up Bloodborne later this weekend. Also, waiting for the Bioshock collection!
Dishonored and Axiom Verge. Then the onslaught begins!!
When I get time I'll be playing through Batman: Arkham Knight which I'm enjoying despite the overuse of the batmobile in so many missions, I've also gotten back into Battlefield 4 again so will be playing a few rounds of that too. Will try to play some of the rumble mode in Rocket League too and see what that's like
I've caught up with my FF XV prep by watching kingsglaive and brotherhood. Now onto Destiny, No mans Sky and Lords of the fallen.
@ApostateMage I literally can't beat Streets of Rage these days. The last stage is rock, you have to beat all the bosses again, I always run out of lives by the third guy
Is SOR2 available for 3DS? Might get that
For me, I'll be playing more online Tekken, as well as watching Tekken 7 videos. I started another Uncharted 1 playthrough, so I'll probably wrap that up, and I'll be doing a playthrough of Ratchet & Clank All 4 One, as I'm two trophies away from the platinum.
@Rudy_Manchego I hope you're getting better. I've had infections like that, and it really sucks.
@kyleforrester87 It is indeed and at a bargain £2.20 as of right now.
Star Trek Online
i'm a HUGE Trekker (yes that is the proper term, it's what Gene wanted the fanbase to be called but Trekkie also works)
@kyleforrester87 It is for NA not, sure about Europe.
@Thegentleman So you went to store I hope they have to replace it if it goes so fast.
@kyleforrester87 SOR2 is gorgeous on the 3ds - dem stereoscopic 3D
Already bored after a couple hours of the Overwatch demo.
Hoping to play some more Titan Souls next. I love that game!
@Fight_Teza_Fight Yea you can always get stuff in NG+ or start again with a different build. For videos that explain the lore/story, check out VaatiVidya (https://www.youtube.com/user/VaatiVidya), because without videos you'll probably finish the game without much clue what was going on. obviously some of the videos have spoilers, but due to the obtuseness of the story I find it adds more than it takes away. Really for any soulsborne lore, he's the guy.
I'm currently playing Tales of Xillia 2 which I think is a nice continuation of the first one. The characters are all likeable and there have been some pretty funny skits. I really like the battle system. I'll probably be finished with it this week then I'll move on to Mirror's Edge Catalyst which I picked up cheap in Sainsbury's.
@Ralizah I love that game! I got second chapter in a sale earlier this year and really look forward to playing it but might have to replay the first one.
Commander Shepard steered the ship very well in the absence of Sammy..
35 hours for an add on Damn some retail games don't last that long
This Weekend will be a clear out for me some tasty titles around the corner.
PS4
Deus Ex Mankind Divided
Vita
Legend of Heroes Trails of Cold Steel II
Wii U
Pikmin NEW PLAY CONTROL
Super Paper Mario
3DS
Ace Attorney Spirit of Justice
Monster Hunter Generations
X1
[nothing]
@Mega-Gazz Thanks that's good to know. A Bloodborne platinum would be a nice feather in my cap so I'm feeling up to the challenge now.
@Tasuki @AXEL314 @ApostateMage Aw, good shout!! Just got SOR2 and Outrun. Time to find my headphones.
@mookysam I'm about halfway through the game. While the plot moves at a glacial speed, the writing, character development, music, and combat are all top notch. I love how much effort was put into creating a world that feels alive.
I bought the first one on sale, but when I get to SC, I'll probably download it full price. XSEED deserves my money for bringing over these notoriously difficult to translate games with loving localizations.
@Flaming_Kaiser well, there going to send me one through the mail ( each time I turned on the ps3 it shut off 5 seconds later)
Recently bought Bloodborne and GTA V. Bloodborne is great and has a great atmosphere to it that almost reminds me of the o.g. Devil May Cry, but man its frustrating! Not giving up though as its as fun as it is irritating. So right now doin some drive bys in first person! Next I think I'll fly up as high as i can for some first person free falling..parachute free of course! Been wanting to do it since Ive bought it, cant wait!
Just finished i am setsuna, I really enjoyed it! Part from that I have been playing sly copper 3 on my vita and playing some overwatch. Need to get round to playing the new phoenix wright at some point.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D (Nintendo 3DS) - Starting the Fire Temple today.
Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition (Windows 10) - Still working on Feats.
Monopoly (Windows Phone) - Still my favourite board game.
More pokemon ruby on 3ds and The Last Of Us Grounded mode on ps3
Shooting through zombie hoards in Yakuza: Dead Souls on PS3 is my hobby at the moment. It's the weakest game in the series, but there is still plenty of fun to be had in small dosages.
Will finish a mission or two of Valkyria Cronices II on VITA.
Update
ReCore has arrived. That's what I'll be playing
@kyleforrester87 Nothing like having SoR 2 on the go!! I lost count of how many times I have bought that game.
PS4 - Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
@JaxonH
Did you order ReCore from Amazon?
@Gamer83
BestBuy actually. GCU 20% discount so I buy all my games there. I take it you ordered from Amazon and are wondering when yours might arrive?
A.O.T and Overwatch.
The Witcher 3 and Paper Mario.
There's clearly a lot of love behind TW3 but the "chat - walk - chat - kill minor enemies - chat - use your senses - chat with yourself - kill the real enemy - chat" routine is a bit tedious. And talking about the fight system, even the first mob in Yharnam is more engaging than any TW3 main mission... If it wasn't for the story...
Bloodborne is the answer!
@JaxonH
Didn't order yet. If reviews are good, I'm going to pick it up at Gamestop or Best Buy on Tuesday. Was just wondering who sent early copies out.
Picked up some bargains. Dark Souls 2 and Wolfenstein The Old Blood. Both games are excellent so far. I've been looking forward to the Bioshock collection, which is out this week. I'll have enough games to keep me busy for a while. Might try for some Platinums.
As I have watched everything from the Star Trek universe, I must try Star Trek Online. Also a bit of Garden Warfare 2, No Mans's Sky, Rocket League and Table Top Racing.
Deus Ex... but not the one you probably thought...
I have played Deus Ex: Revision (Steam, of course) from 9 p.m. yesterday till 4 a.m. today and I'm going to play it again today.
Still trying to finish off Far Cry 4. (5 missions left) If I get through, I will probably try out Journey on PS4.
@sub12 Admittedly, I'm not far in the game yet. I can see why it's good and I do really like it; however, I don't think it's going to end up as the best game I've played this gen. It's just some minor issues that bug me sometimes. Like the way controls and movement work, just doesn't feel as polished as say Uncharted 4 for example. As far as characters, lore and the actual world goes, it's pretty amazing though.
@kyleforrester87 I'm still enjoying it. I'm usually not into RPGs, but I think this is an exception. Reminds me a bit of Runescape in some way, I must've spend hundreds of hours on that game when it came out 15 years ago.. Good times. I'm also into Gwent, an addictive distraction from the main game. Whenever I don't feel like doing another quest, I just go out of my way to play some Gwent.
@Octane there is a different movement option in the settings...I'm not sure which one is the default one, the original or the one they patched in. I reckon the new ones a lot better though. Feels less like you are playing GTA and more like you are playing MGS5 lol.
@JaxonH
How is Recore? That might be my next Xbox One game.
@Ralizah Yeah the world feels really complete and alive. The attention to detail is impressive. The game really surprised me actually. The story is definitely quite slow burning but heats up a lot towards the end. The ending is awesome but a cliffhanger so I guess that's why people were so desperate for SC to be localised. Hats of to XSEED for their dedication and releasing a PSP game in 2015!
@andreoni79
Bloodborne fans are pretty humorous though, Sammy was the same way thoughout most of 2015, he had a hard time giving TW3 it's dues because it was overshadowing Bloodborne in critical claim.
BTW, TW3 > Bloodborne,....
.......but wait, I hear the cries "the combat isn't as good", and my reply is, your right, but your ignoring the fact that one is a huge open world action RPG that focuses on quest design and character interaction, and the other has a much more linear world,.....while differing in being a technical hack and slash with light RPG elements.
It's like comparing Gran Turismo with Burnout.
@sub12 I spend a l lot of time reading the notes of the wonderful world they created and I love how they worked with npcs and enemies but once on the field the last ones lose somehow their magic... It just feels like fighting holograms, don't know why.
@Tasuki I got upto the last stage, mighty try it on easy mode just to see the credits haha. I forgot how outlandish some of the stages are compared to SOR1 @JaxonH So I picked up MH:Generations last night. What the hell am I doing? Done one or two quests (had to grab some moths in one). Seems fun enough to be fair. Any pointers for a newb?
@Deadcow what made you think that? I played it for an hour and was quite impressed, not enough to keep me coming right back as I've some other stuff to play instead but it didn't seem crap
@kyleforrester87
Absolutely. So, the 1 star quests are just kind of there to teach you here's how to gather, here's how to carve, here's how to do this, do that. For each level of starred quests (1 star, 2 star, 3 star, etc) there are certain "Key Quests" required to do to unlock the Urgent Quest which is how you graduate to the next level. So basically, you don't have to do all the quests. Just the keys, which can be found here http://monsterhunter.wikia.com/wiki/MHGen:_Village_Key_Quests
Once you unlock the Urgent to fight the Great Maccao, you get your first taste of a real monster hunt. Granted it's easy and obviously not anywhere close to the insane monsters you'll be fighting in higher ranked quests. So, you'll want to find a weapon that suits your playstyle, and then learn it like the back of your hand. There are tutorial quests for each weapon, which let you fight a Great Maccao in the arena with that weapon so you can test out different ones. I recommend something easy to learn at first, probably nothing ranged or slow (ranged weapons require "gunner armor" which has half the defense as the normal armor counterparts).
Maybe Long Sword or Dual Blades- those are noob friendly. Switch Axe and Charge blade have dual forms, you use the lesser blade to charge up and then switch to a powerful axe, so those are fun too but a little trickier to learn. And Insect Glaive is great but you're constantly having to shoot out this insect at the monster to get buffs, which can be aggravating and frustrating for a new player. Ranged weapons are usually for more experienced hunters, and slow weapons aren't usually the best choice right away. Hammer and Hunting Horn are fantastic but, you've got to deal with slower animations and smaller window of timing to land hits as a result.
You'll want to farm an armor set right away. Pro Tip- don't ever buy armor sets- they suck. Same goes for weapons. You want to craft- everything you do you need to craft. So I recommend farming the Tetsucabra armor set. Tetsucabra is relatively easy to farm, and his armor set is perfect for low rank because it grants a skill which maxes your health bar (also grants tremor resistance). You'll hunt Tetsu as your 2-star Urgent into 3-Star rank. So just run through the 1 and 2 star Key quests, get to Tetsu and then farm him for his armor. Also be a good time to craft a new weapon as well.
So, download the DLC packs asap- talk to the housekeeper in your room or do it from main menu. Lots of potions and stuff for free. You'll wanna learn how to craft certain items- like potions (potion = blue mushroom + green herb) and you make it a Mega Potion by then combining honey (Mega Potion = Potion + Honey). You'll also want to carve raw meat from the big herbivore dinosaurs roaming the areas. Buy a BBQ Spit and keep it in your item pouch for quests. Then, once you have some raw meat carved, you use the BBQ Spit to cook it to well done steaks, which replenish your stamina. This is absolutely crucial to learn. Should be a quest that teaches you this.
Watch your weapon sharpness. It goes red > orange > yellow > green > blue > white. Right now you'll want to get a weapon with green sharpness ASAP. Probably won't happen til at least Tetsucabra but still, make it a priority. In the meantime, keep your yellow sharpness at all times. You see it drop to orange you should sharpen right away. Use whetstones to sharpen. You can gather whetstones out on quests, and they're a necessity to have.
image hosting 10mb limit
I'd recommend watching Gaijin Hunter videos to learn whatever you need. Especially how to use whatever weapon you choose. Here's his YouTube videos for each weapon. Most every veteran hunter uses Gaijin Hunter as a vital information resource.
https://m.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLDR3ta7VqKryXOcFwWv6Di8PmJqtYocI3
And Polygon put a nice guide together for new hunters, it's a little overload with information but, you can find some good info in there.
http://www.polygon.com/monster-hunter-generations/2016/7/19/12215480/beginners-guide
@kyleforrester87
Also, looking at that chart it may seem there's no rush to jump from yellow to green sharpness, but what the chart doesn't tell you is yellow actually only does 1.0X damage when your hit lands in the center of the blade. If the tip or base of your weapon connects, it's 0.75 damage and it wears down the sharpness like you did 2 hits, so you'll wear down to orange twice as quickly. That's why the jump to green ASAP is crucial, and later on the jump to blue ASAP is also crucial.
There will be other things you'll want to keep in your item pouch down the line but, here's the basics that you'll want right now. A guide on what you should be aiming to take with you on every quest.
things to keep in your item pouch on every quest
I also recommend choosing the "Adept" hunting style. It allows you to do this crazy bushido barrel roll dodge when timed perfectly. It basically gives you the equivalent of Evasion +2 skill, which is one of the most envied and coveted end-game skills there is, and you get it right out the gate with Adept. It's even better than Evasion skill because the Evasion +2 skill just gives you 0.4 seconds of invincibility, whereas the Adept dodge gives you 0.4 seconds invincibility to execute the bushido dodge and then total invincibility for the duration of the animation. It's crazy good, and I see no reason to ever use any other Hunting Style, though aerial style does have some good benefits also. Just practice rolling, all the time rolling. Attack, attack, roll. Etc. you'll probably inadvertently pull off the adept dodge just by rolling through attacks, and once you get the timing down you become insanely dangerous.
The name of the game is "don't get hit". A lot of new players just wanna go on a rampage attacking, rather than looking for openings, getting a few attacks in and rolling away. I'd really recommend watching a few videos of veteran hunters to get a feel for proper hunting techniques.
Also, skills play a huge part of the game. Usually +10 points in a given skill activates it, and -10 points in a skill activates the negative skill. There are also tiers sometimes- like with Tetsucabra, a full armor set grants 10 points in health which activates the skill "Health +20". If you can then increase your points to 15 you'll activate the 2nd tier of the skill called "Health +50" which completely maxes your health bar. You can do this by crafting decorations at the smithy (like a +2 Health gem, 3 of which will take you from 10 points to 16, therefore activating the second tier of the skill). You need an open slot on your weapon, armor or talisman to equip a gem. More slots the better because more slots = more gems = more skill points = more skills/better skills. Likewise, if you have -10 points with a negative skill activates, just craft a +1 gem and equip it to take the points from -10 to -9, so the negative skill no longer activates. You'll want to craft full armor sets because each of the 5 pieces adds a few points in the same skills. Mix and match and you won't reach 10 points in anything and therefore won't have any activated skills.
Also, always eat before each quest. Always always always. It can increase your health bar, grant temporary skills (like more defense or insurance in case you cart- carting means dying by the way- referring to the "kitty cart" that carries you back to base- you're allowed 3 carts per hunt).
@sub12 There's been a "60fps update" for the PC version since launch.
But seriously, I got the PC version not long ago for £15 and it's so much better than the horrible, jerky, twitchy PS4 version. No menu lag either, though maybe they eventually fixed that on PS4 as well.
@Matroska
lol, I'm envious, I've played through the game multiple times already, but I would do it again to see it in 60 FPS (I've always been more of a high frame rate guy over resolution and texture quality).
I reckon CD Projekt will create some kind of Pro feature, they just seem like that kind of studio.
@JaxonH great thanks! Lots of info! Will watch the vids you recommended too.
@kyleforrester87 Yeah its quite a bit harder then SoR, I think part of the reason is they don't have that screen clearer special attack like SoR. I usually play SoR2 though on two players, which makes it a tad bit easier.
Just played Journey. Was a great game and even had someone else along. Although great, it is by no means the number 1 ps4 game (as I've have seen on this site). It is too short and not enough variation as for what to do. Creative yes, but on that point I would put Unfinished Swan ahead. At least for me. Maybe I was expecting to much having waited this long to play it and seeing all the rave reviews. If I had to pick a number 1 game, off the top of my head I'd say Witcher 3 or Elder Scrolls Online. At least from what I have played so far.
I played the Overwatch demo for a few hours. It's alright. I love how colorful it is. The gameplay is a bit too monotonous for me to want to spend much on it, but I'd probably part with $20 or so to play it once in a while.
@kyleforrester87 Monster Hunter games are incredibly deep, but they're tough nuts to crack. The game proper doesn't really start for several hours, and there's an incredible amount of information to absorb. It's worth it, though. There's an amazing sense of achievement the first time you down a really challenging monster.
@Ralizah Yeah I try to skip tutorials where I can but I've got a feeling it's not gunna be possible with this one so I'm plugging through them like a good boy
I'm playing The Wait for PS4Pro.
@Deadcow Hmmm I got some lighter armour pretty quick and put that on, my character moved quite a bit faster then and rolling wasn't stupidly slow anymore. I get where you're coming from, it is kinda odd that your character can only swing his sword a few times before needing to recover, but obviously the enemies have the same handicap and if you build up your characters strength this will get better and better over time until I suppose, like DS, you can go back to the start areas and absolutely stop on everything. The jumpy frame rate is what stopped me going back.
