It's one of the biggest games of the year, but our looks at Watch Dogs 2 have been limited to say the least. Ubisoft, ever the experts at earning column inches for their wares, has hooked up the enthusiast press with tons of new gameplay footage -- and because our invite got lost in the post, we've reproduced Eurogamer.net's coverage for your perusal above. The power of the Internet and all that!

Just finished the first watch_dogs and found is was a fairly generic ubisoft sandbox game and I found myself really trying to just finish it to get it done. In particular I found the usual Assassin's Creed problem with difficulty, which makes you feel like you are cruising through trivial missions to watch the story, where you can totally botch a mission but somehow complete it with the extras..... until a sudden difficulty spike which comes in a way that doesn't feel fair and rewarding the way for example a souls game does, just cheap. Car chases and police were quite annoying too, as there were limited ways to either take down vehicles or escape from the police.
Somehow I've played almost every AC game despite all of the above
I'm curious what, if anything, ubisoft has done other than apply their formula with better graphics and a few whistles?
I actually enjoyed the first one. Not my favorite game, but it kept me hooked for a while. In the end though, I thought the map was too small and the weather sucked too often 😃 so personally I'm lookin forward to the sunny streets of Frisco, and a much larger map
From what I'd seen of the first game, it looked ok. Never got a chance to try it. The sequel so far looks better, and I actually think it'll getter reception, especially without the massive hype train the original had.
Still don't like the character designs though. Ugh.
I got watch dogs for a fiver
Imma get watch dogs 2 for a fiver 2
like the 1st poster said "I'm curious what, if anything, ubisoft has done other than apply their formula with better graphics and a few whistles"
Loved the first game played it far more than I ended up playing GTA V. Certainly a day one purchase.
I tried to like the first one but it got boring. It's one of the only PS4 games I never finished. I'm fefinitely going to wait on this one.
I really did enjoy the first game and while the 'hip vibe' isn't really me, it does look like a pretty good sequel.
