DriveClub VR's urban tracks have been patched into the base game for free – and Evolution Studios has included a message of farewell in the version history. The complimentary update – which augments 15 new circuits – says: "Thanks for your support. Thanks for your commitment. Farewell and enjoy the game!"
The patch weighs in at a whopping 5.9GB, so it's a big'un. Still, this must be a first: a game being actively updated with free content months after the developer has been closed down. It's sad that support had to end, but at least this is closure that everyone can be satisfied with. Farewell, Evolution Studios.

Such a good game , must go back to it and get all those stars ! Pity what happened , I wouldve definitely bought any sequel.
Awesome game, just finished a few laps now funnily enough. Sucks that they couldn't keep putting out new content.
We need more Devs like Evolution Studios.
Can't believe Sony shut them and won't let this live on.. it's an absolutely blinding game and the Norwegian and rural Scottish tracks are some of the best ever made into a racing game.
codemasters took them over, so they still exist as a studio. i'd kind of like to see them do a spiritual successor to the motorstorm series (since sony owns the actual motorstorm ip). racers (of any type) aren't really my cup of tea, but i did enjoy pacific rift, and apocalypse in particular.
Shame, I was hoping for a 4K update. Urban tracks look good though.
Best racing game in years. Filled a gap that Need for Speed left many many years ago.
Farewell Evolution. Boss game, thanks for the free tracks. If only the times in timetrials could be upped a little in your final final update?
Sad times, cant believe we wont ever see anymore dc dlc. 😢
