Role-players rejoice: player homes are coming to The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited early next year, Zenimax Online Studios has announced. Speaking on Geoff Keighley's GameSlice, game director Matt Firor spilled the beans on the upcoming feature, which will be account based rather than character based.
Going into detail, Firor mentions that housing will come in racial styles, and you'll be able to nab your first apartment by completing a certain quest. Once you've done that, you'll be given the opportunity to buy bigger and better housing with in-game gold. Furniture crafting is also being incorporated, so if you're particularly creative, you can make your own bits and pieces to decorate with - and you can even sell your creations off to other players.
Have you been pining for player housing in The Elder Scrolls Online? Will you be setting up shop as soon as it's released? Make yourself comfortable in the comments section below.

Whilst I love TESO I'm so busy playing other games that my characters have had their feet up for a silly amount of time now. They've probably all put on 40lbs since my last login.
But like Arnie says: "I'll be back." Not in a 'drive a car into the front desk of a police station' sort of way. More of a gentle 'type in a password and press X' manoeuvre.
Any time table given for the release date?
This is going to be a good for a few dfferent reasons. You can buy the house with gold as opposed to Crowns. Create and sell your own furniture. You can also invite your guild members to yor house which wil be a useful feaure when you are planning PvP dungeons runs etc. This game is doing all the right things and this is probably the most anticipated change to date.
Sounds great, need to start my quest at some point, ugh
I already have my home at ESO. It is true that this is just my beginning. I found some great information in this article. For an amateur like me, this tutorial turned out to be great: https://steemit.com/elder/@snfpartner/elder-scrolls-online-housing-come-inside-make-yourself-at-home
