World of Final Fantasy's Opening Movie Features Familiar Faces

Even though it's just a bit too cheery for our jaded tastes here at Push Square, we must admit that World of Final Fantasy's opening movie is actually pretty cool - particularly when it goes all anime with Cloud and the gang. Well worth a watch if you're looking forward to the charming little role-playing release, which launches on the 28th October.

When did the Playstation fan-base stop enjoying colourful and gorgeous games in favour of dark and gritty games? I was a huge fan of PS1 & PS2, and recently purchased a PS3 and the games that I think look better on the PS3 are the ones with cheerier anime-styled graphics. Not to mention they tend to be better for getting your mind off of real-world problems.

@Rukiafan7 Beats me. I personally love colorful games. They don't just look better than most realistic titles, they usually hold up well years after release.

@Rukiafan7 er...dont think playstation fans did stop enjoying those kind of games. Ratchet & Clank is probably the most popular game over on the game of the year thread on the forum.
