It leaked over the weekend, but now the NBA 2KVR Experience has pulled up its shorts and taken to the court. The spin-off, which will launch tomorrow on the PlayStation Store for £11.99, will you compete across a variety of basketball-based minigames, as you're coached by NBA 2K17 cover athlete and All-Star Paul George at the Indiana Pacers' stadium, Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Even if it turns out to be a short-lived distraction, the minigames in the trailer do look entertaining – particularly the trick shots one. Is this something that you'll be planning to pick up for your PlayStation VR headset? Take a long shot in the comments section below.

Aw come on game execs wake up! You really think we want a flipping £400 VR on console or PC that only does' experiences'! Start creating full blown games with long stories, replayability and multiplayer else VR will sink itself end of next year.
@bbq_boy it's a good job we don't do down voting on here otherwise you'd be done for speaking the truth.
@bbq_boy Their not going to do that till they are sure VR is worth the investment.
For what seems like 10 american dollas? Sure
Finally, a sports game without an annualized season attached to the name!
I was just telling people if they would actually release a sports game that focused on classic years, like a "Madden The Nineties" were you could relive 10 seasons in the 90's with Aikman and Smith, or a "The Show Vintage" let you play back with Babe Ruth and Ty Cobb all the way up to Hank Aaron and Nolan Ryan...
I would actually buy those games because they would stand the test of time. But right now when a sports game releases it feels dated the very next year, because it'll be 2017 and the sports game was for 2016.
They really need to do something different and this is a nice start
@bbq_boy There was always going to be some aspect of experimentation.
@JaxonH
I love that idea. Make The Show 'Vintage' a VR exclusive and I'd drop the $460 and deal with the motion sickness.
